INF

Hello?! Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel chats on the phone — perhaps to dad Seal? — with a little help from Heidi Klum on Thursday in New York.

Johan, 2 ½, plus siblings Henry, 3 ½ and Leni, 5, along with grandma Erna (none pictured) were on their way back home after spending some time at a West Village playground.

The newest addition to the brood, a baby girl, is due in October.

Aiden Turner's Daughter-to-Be: A Future Karate Kid?

Aiden Turner is counting down the days! To what, you may ask? The arrival of his first child with wife Megan. Megan is due to give birth to a little girl next month and the All My Children star couldn’t be more excited or more in love! Thanks to a 3-D in-utero scan, Aiden knows that his little girl is “gorgeous, she’s got long legs and I can’t wait to meet her. I’m already falling in love.”

As for Aiden’s wife, she feels the same except for “this really massive alien who keeps rolling around in her belly.” Aiden claims that his little girl is “like a little Karate Kid being trained by Mr. Miyaki … When I lie in bed at night with my arm on her belly, she’s like, trying to push through the skin. It’s crazy.” All in all though, “Megan’s doing really well. She’s having a great pregnancy. She’s really happy and enjoying it, not feeling bad at all.”

The couple, who were married in April 2006, announced the pregnancy in March.

Omar Epps: 'Nothing Can Really Prepare You' for Parenthood

Frazer Harrison/Getty

In a new interview with WebMD magazine, House star Omar Epps says that “when it comes to parenting, there are many books and a lot of helpful things, but nothing can really prepare you.” Noting that “once you are driving that ship, it’s the hardest, yet greatest job in the world,” Omar says that the rewards are well worth the effort. “To see them learn something and to really see them go from zero to past zero,” is the most exciting part of parenthood, he says, adding,

“I have learned to keep my innocence. I am an artist, so I have it in me to find the wonder in life. My kids are also pretty disciplined and determined. If they set their mind to do something, they will accomplish it and that is pretty admirable.”

Omar gives wife Keisha Spivey Epps full credit for shouldering the load with their daughter K’mari Mae, 5, and son Amir, 18 months, while he’s at work on the hit FOX show, making all doctors appointments and sleeping in Amir’s room so Omar gets a full night’s rest. “My hours are too crazy and I can’t deal with midnight wake ups, so we make do,” he says. With that said, the 35-year-old actor is counting his blessings on all fronts!

“I feel blessed to do what I love and be able to make a living and take care of my family. It has been a great ride so far, so it’s kind of easy to find a balance.”

Omar is also dad to daughter Aiyanna Yasmine, 10, with ex-wife Yusra Salama.

Corolle Dolls: A Baby For Every Stage

Most little girls are into baby dolls and Anya is no exception. We received a few Corolle baby dolls early on and they easily became Anya’s favorites. In our house, Bebe Do ($70) is Queen and is it any surprise? With her chubby punim, eyelash lined eyes that close when she “sleeps”, a soft velour outfit and yummy vanilla scent, this 14″ doll is perfect for the 2+ child.

What else makes Corolle dolls special? At first the selection may appear overwhelming because there are SO many Corolle dolls, but there is a doll for every age and stage your child goes through. Read More

Klean Kanteen: Safer Sipping

In the four years I’ve been using Klean Kanteen reusable water bottles ($18-28), the comments I’ve heard have changed from ‘what’s-that-strange-bottle-your-child-is drinking-out-of?’ to ‘where-can-I-get-one-for-each-of-my-kids?’ Everyone wants a stainless steel drink container these days and no wonder — with all the crazy things going on in the world of plastics, it’s nice to know that stainless steel isn’t leaching a single unpronounceable thing into your child’s drink.

And Klean Kanteen bottles have come a long way in the last few years. Now available in a gorgeous array of colors, the new bottles are painted on the outside with a non-toxic, acrylic, resin-based finish, have an assortment of accessories available (like caps and protective sleeves) and are dishwasher safe. They also come in a variety of sizes so mom and dad can have a great drink container, too (there’s even a wine carafe!). Plus, unlike some of the other metal sippy cups I’ve tried, these ones really don’t leak.

All the conveniences of plastic bottles and none of the dangers. Now that’s a sippy I want to pack in my diaper bag.

Thad Luckinbill and Amelia Heinle Expecting a Daughter

Michael Bezjian/WireImage

The rumors are true! The Young and the Restless stars Thad Luckinbill and Amelia Heinle are in fact expecting their second child together — a little girl. While a due date is unknown, a friend of the couple reports that “Thad and Amelia are so thrilled.” The new baby will join the couple’s son Thaddeus Rowe Luckinbill Jr., 20 months, and Amelia’s son August Manning, 13, with ex-husband Michael Weatherly.

In a recent interview, Thad shared that fatherhood had turned him into “a big ball of mush.”

“You always hear how much you’re going to love your children, but to actually experience it is awesome … there’s just this amazing connection there.”

Thad, 34, and Amelia, 36,  met on the set of The Young of the Restless and were married in March 2007.
