She may be on vacation from Good Day LA this week, but that didn’t stop Jillian Barberie Reynolds from announcing her big news: Baby no. 2 is a boy!
A “beyond excited” Jillian, 42, took to her Twitter and Facebook accounts earlier today to share the results of her latest ultrasound. “I knew it!!!! It’s a BOY!!!!!,” the morning show host and weathercaster posted to her Facebook page. “Woman’s intuition and more importantly he’s healthy!! I’m elated!!! Now I can really start my vacation!!!! xoxo Jillian”
Baby boy on the way is due in late January and will join big sister Ruby Raven, 2. In addition to her regular duties on Good Day LA, FOX NFL Sunday and American Idol Extra, Jillian will be appearing alongside husband Grant Reynolds on House Husbands of Hollywood, premiering August 15th on Fox Reality.

Celebrating their baby-on-the-way – a boy! – Tisha Campbell-Martin and husband Duane Martin were joined by celebrity friends for a French Cirque du Bebe-themed shower, held Saturday afternoon in California.
Hosted by family friend Jayneoni Moore, the bash drew pals Samuel L. Jackson, Leah Remini, Cedric the Entertainer, Holly Robinson Peete, Eriq La Salle, Niecy Nash and Pauletta Washington.
Styling by Jennifer Sbranti of Hostess with the Mostess transformed the lavish location into a whimsical wonderland complete with mod elephant vases, monkey statues, zebra-print tablecloths, sparkly crystals and giant ostrich feather “trees” comprised of more than 200 electric blue and golden yellow feathers.
“I was so surprised by everything and how extraordinary the party was,” said the Rita Rocks star, 40. “I am such a control freak and usually plan my parties, but this was the most beautiful – from the people, to the decor, to the food.”
Tisha’s creative, French-inspired menu was catered by The Party Goddess and included an opulent cheese display overflowing with olive pâtés, le petite beef sliders topped with triple cream brie and homemade sweet potato fries dusted with Cajun spices.
Guests sipped on specialty drinks that included a “French Martin-tini, “Toast to Tisha” and fresh blueberry lemonade with mint leaves, – from bartenders in masks reminiscent of Mardi Gras – while sweet tooths were satisfied with Heavenly Cupcakes’ 5-tier tower displaying over 200 gourmet treats.
Due in early fall with a baby brother for son Xen, who turns 8 next month, Tisha was ecstatic about her Peanut Shell-sponsored shower.
“Everyone enjoyed themselves,” said Tisha. “It felt more like a family reunion than anything else, which was just the best!”

It’s a girl! Actress Paz Vega and her husband Orson Salazar welcomed their second child on Friday, July 17th, the Spanglish star confirms. As was planned, daughter Ava Salazar was born in Madrid and weighed in at 7 lbs., 2 oz.
“Paz and Ava are both healthy and enjoying being at home,” her rep Marcel Pariseau confirms to Celebrity Baby Blog. “Paz and Orson are both so excited about the new addition to their young family.”
Due to the baby’s positioning, Paz needed to undergo a cesarean to deliver her daughter. “She was transverse in my womb, so they had to perform a c-section,” the actress explained in interviews with the Spanish press.
While the 33-year-old is “happy” that the delivery went perfectly, she laughs that baby Ava is keeping everyone on their toes with her voracious appetite.
“The baby has come big and with lots of interest in eating! Ava is a big little lady who was born at 7 lbs. and for a girl, that’s really good.”
The new baby joins big brother Orson, 2, who is happily taking on his new role. “He hasn’t had any type of rejection toward the baby,” reports Paz. “On the contrary, he gets close to her … and says, ‘Ava, my baby!’” before running off to play in the garden adjoining the hospital room.
The new family of four will remain in Madrid until mid-September, at which point they will then head to Los Angeles to raise their children.
Rumors of a pregnancy began in December, with Paz later confirming she was expecting and revealing baby-on-the-way was a girl.

Academy-Award winning actor Forest Whitaker and wife Keisha Whitaker arrived with half their brood — daughters Autumn, 18, and True Isabella Summer, 11 — to the Mandela Day concert, held Saturday at Radio City Music Hall in the Big Apple.
Mandela Day is “an annual celebration of Nelson Mandela’s life and a global call to action for people to recognize their individual power to make an imprint and change the world around them.”
Together, Forest, 48, and Keisha, 37, have daughters True and Sonnet Noel, 12 ½, while Keisha has Autumn and Forest has son Ocean, 19, from previous relationships.

Actor Nicolas Cage is hardly unaware of the global problems facing us in today’s society. In fact, those same problems serve as the father-of-two’s inspiration when it comes to his time on the big screen. “I feel there’s nothing more sacred than the magical world of children. I just want to keep kids smiling,” he tells PARADE. “It’s getting harder and harder to do that with what’s going on in the world — you know, people are losing their jobs, families are tense.”
To that end, when the 45-year-old actor was offered a role as the mole in the new kids movie G-Force, he gladly accepted!
“Any chance I get to make a movie that the whole family can look forward to and share with their children, I’m going to take it.”
For Nicolas, those kids include his own son, 3 ½-year-old Kal-El. Unaware of his father’s celebrity status and his long list of film roles — the proud papa will turn off the TV if his movies are airing — the toddler is being brought up in as normal a setting as possible. That isn’t to say, however, that he doesn’t enjoy his fair share of movies, most recently one — unbeknownst to him — starring his dad!
“I did take him to see G-Force and he enjoyed the whole movie and my niece enjoyed it, but they didn’t know the mole was my voice in the movie, which is fine by me.”
Kal-El is Nicolas’ only child with wife Alice Kim; He is also dad to 18-year-old Weston Coppola, his son from a previous relationship. G-Force is in theaters July 24th.

Here’s a blue-eyed babe we haven’t seen in months!
Callum Lyon MacLachlan — who celebrates his first birthday this coming Saturday! — accompanied parents Kyle MacLachlan and Desiree Gruber to opening day of the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge at Blue Star Jets Field, held at the Bridgehampton Polo Club on Saturday in the Hamptons.
Kyle, 50, currently appears on Desperate Housewives, while Desiree, 42, is an executive producer on Project Runway.
