Constance Zimmer on the 'Amazing' Evolution of Mother and Child

It’s sometimes hard to feel fulfilled by a newborn baby, but Constance Zimmer has a message for new moms — hang in there! Speaking to Celebrity Baby Blog at the Buzz Girls Creatives Dinner in West Hollywood on July 14, the 38-year-old Entourage star said that taking life with baby “one day at a time” is the best piece of advice given to her since welcoming daughter Colette Zoe, 18 months. “They change so much, you can’t stick to one lesson,” she says. “It just doesn’t work.”

“I feel like that goes especially in the beginning. When they’re not doing anything and you’re like, ‘God, just give me something,’ and then all of a sudden they’re giving you too much. And you’re like, ‘Wait, woah!’ So I would say…definitely just take it one day at a time, because it really evolves into something amazing.”

Something else that has leaves Constance in a state of amazement are spill-proof bowls! “That snack cup works for anything, any size snack, it doesn’t matter,” she shares. “Today I was at the zoo with [Colette]…She ran around with that thing in her hands, jumping up and down, and nothing fell out. It’s fantastic.” As for what is often found inside, Constance singled out dried snap peas. “[They] are like the best snack ever,” she says.

Colette is Constance’s daughter with partner Russ Lamoureux.

Where do you buy those snack cups she’s talking about? I’ve seen other kids with them but haven’t seen them at the stores.
