ehh is her hair dyed?? if So Who lets their 7yr old dye their hair

- Sassy on

Wow–They dye their 7 year old’s hair! They aren’t the first, nor will they be the last.

She looks like her dad! I had no idea he had so many kids, lucky guy.

Mason’s hair is very blond with no visible roots in other pictures I’ve seen of her. Maybe her hair is just starting to darken? I had naturally red hair in my baby/toddler years and then it darkened to the very, very dark brown (almost black) it is today. In some of my childhood pictures you can see my roots too. If it is dyed I agree that 7 is too young to be bleaching a child’s hair.

I don’t think it’s dyed. I think her blond hair is about to grow out. Many people have blond hair as children which grows out brown or black when they get older. Usually it happens in puberty but it can happen earlier as well. If you want a celebrity example look at Brooke Shield’s childhood pictures. She was honey blond until she was about 6 or 7 years old, then it grew out dark brown. It really surprised me, but they showed several very early childhood pics of her in a documentary and it really was honey blond. I have two friends who have dark brown hair and blue eyes, both of them had light blond hair as kids.

Mason Olivia is very cute.

Have we ever seen a picture of Jude?

just because she has darker roots does not mean her hair has been dyed…my hair was the same way as a kid and even know my roots are always a little bit darker than the rest of my hair.

i don’t think it’s really all that fair to jump to the conclusion that they let their 7-year daughter dye her hair (or that they dye it) based on one picture

It does look dyed, but it doesn’t mean it is. The color of her hair just has that bleached look(like her moms). Personally whether it is or isn’t I can’t see what’s the big deal if it is. I have virgin hair and have never bleached it, so maybe I’m missing something.

Her hari does not look dyed to me at all! Anyways, she looks totally like her father! Precious!

I’d say lil Mason looks like her daddy too. LoL this picture of her is cute, she just looks soo amused to be there lol, cutie. I like all of Kelsey’s children’s names!

What a Handsome Family!

Lily- I couldn’t agree more! My mother was white blonde as a child. However, around the time she hit puberty her hair began to darken…and now it’s such a dark brown it’s nearly black!

Gaia’s Mommadukes: It is pretty clear that Camille’s hair is dyed, so saying that Mason’s hair “just has that bleached look like her Mom’s” doesn’t really make it any clearer! Also, LOL for “virgin hair”.

I think they’re a cute family, dyed hair or not. I seem to recall both Mason and Jude were born via surrogate. Does anyone else remember that?

- Seraphina on

Yes, they were born via surrogate. Camille has really bad IBS Irritable Bowel Sydrome and it was advised by her doctors she should not carry a child.
