Prince Lionheart Soft Booster Seat: No Skidding Around!

07/06/2009 at 02:30 PM ET

Looking for a soft feeding booster seat for your child? We like Prince Lionheart’s Soft Booster Seat ($35). Made of waterproof light density foam, the seat comes in mint or orange. Designed for children over 12 months old who don’t require restraints, it is skid-resistant and will stay in place, with no buckles or harness straps. It’s easily cleaned, works inside or outside and comes with a carry bag.

The Soft Booster Seat was perfect for my preschooler because the soft foam was comfortable for him to sit on. He liked that he wasn’t strapped in “like a baby” (his words). When we went out to a restaurant, we took this along for my 1-year-old daughter where it was perfect for booth seating. And when it gets dirty, the seat is small enough that you can wash it off in your sink.

Wow the whole Lionheart catalogue is coming around on this website. I thought you only posted the articles you were really enthusiastic about?

We have this (in this exact color) and it does move around constantly and has weird little grooves on the seat part and is impossible to get completely clean. I haven’t really found anything better but this thing is pretty lame.

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
