Ask 2-year-old William ‘Huck’ Huckleberry how he feels about his new baby brother and, depending on the day, one may be surprised by the answer. To that end, the boys’ father and country crooner Brad Paisley, jokes that the idea of big brotherhood is only one of many areas where Huck remains unsure — even Brad and his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley aren’t immune from the list! “There are certain days when he is not so certain about us — that he’s got the right parents,” he tells OK! at the CMA Music Festival.

Joking aside, Brad is quick to note that the sibling love between Huck and 11-week-old Jasper Warren is growing strong. “Most of the time, I think he loves his brother,” he says. “No, he likes his brother a lot. It’s good.” However, an only child himself, Brad admits Huck has certainly been forced out of his comfort level by the addition of baby boy.

“It’s a little bit of a shock for a little boy to share things, and one that I’m glad he has to experience and I never had to.”

I love this family. Brad’s stories about his sons are so funny and so true, at first the other children are a little apprehensive of the new addition but then they will become great little buddies…I hope!

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
