Exclusive: Jagger Donovan Rooney Celebrates His First Birthday!

Jennifer Cook

Since his birth last May 31st, Rascal Flatts lead guitarist Joe Don Rooney and wife Tiffany Fallon have kept son Jagger Donovan out of the spotlight. In celebration of his first birthday, the couple have decided to open up their photo album and share a few personal pictures of Jagger’s first year exclusively with Celebrity Baby Blog readers!

Tiffany, who recently appeared on Celebrity Apprentice and was the 2005 Playboy Playmate of the Year, spoke to us briefly about her little man’s latest accomplishments!

“I can’t believe we just celebrated Jagger’s first birthday! Everyone says the first years fly by — and they’re right — but looking back over the past year reminds me of many incredible experiences, a lot of firsts and a happiness that is hard to express in words.

Since the day he was born, Jagger looked just like his handsome daddy and luckily, he acquired his temperament too — sweet and mellow, but with my fearlessness and blue eyes. This year has been a learning experience for Joe Don and me, but Jag makes parenting easy.

Every milestone has been an incredible adventure for all of us. From what Grandma tells us, the fact that Jag sleeps 12 hours at night — and has done so for months — is rare… so we are lucky parents on many counts!

When we are not on tour with Dad, Jag and I love to join his baby buddies and their moms at his Music City Music Together class. He’s been going since he was eight months old and it gives us a chance to be around other babies and share in Joe Don’s passion for playing instruments… or eating them.

We’ve also been taking swimming class for the past month and have been working on eating table food, which usually becomes floor food, then quickly turns into dog food. Dad and I are looking forward to Jag taking his first steps, which should happen any day!”

The Bumbleride Indie stroller ($460) offers high style and fantastic maneuverability, plus it comes with a bunch of accessories including a rain cover and a cup holder!

We love the seagrass color scheme that we tested, a green and turquoise combo.

It also comes in black, hot pink, red and a happy orange-and-turquoise combination.

We got lots of questions and compliments on it when we trotted it out in New York.

For the Wine-Lover Dad: Ravi Wine-Chiller

Men can be so difficult to shop for which makes Father’s Day especially challenging. Besides the cute projects your kids will undoubtedly bring home from school, we’ve pulled together some great options for you to get for dear old Dad — yours or your children’s! If you miss one, visit our Father’s Day Gift Guide category.

Can’t afford a wine-cellar or wine refrigerator? The Ravi ($40) chills red wine instantly to a perfect temperature as you pour, revealing the fruit that too-warm temperatures mask or even damage. (That’s right, I said red wine. Think about it — wines are traditionally stored in cellars where the temperature is slightly cooler than the rest of a home.) Store the Ravi in the freezer for at least six hours — you can store it in there when you’re not using it — and when it’s time to imbibe, insert into the bottle and as you pour, the wine passes through the Ravi’s frozen steel chamber into your glass, chilling it to a perfect 54 and 64 degrees Fahrenheit. You can also use the Ravi with white wine but it won’t chill it as much as it’s supposed to unless it’s already slightly cool.

A finger tip control inlet lets you adjust the serving temperature which is important for subsequent pours as the Ravi warms as it’s being used. It works for vodka too but don’t use it with carbonate beverages because it will ruin the device.
