Jeffrey Mayer/Wireimage

Talk about family togetherness: For Father’s Day, Mark Consuelos, wife Kelly Ripa and their children — Michael, 12, Lola, 8 and Joaquin, 6 — are piling into a minivan for a two-week road trip across Arizona and Colorado.

It’s just one of the ways the family likes to stay connected, something the former All My Children star is promoting with Lever 2000′s new Make Every Touch Count campaign, celebrating family togetherness (and benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of America).

We caught up with the father of three about his “great American minivan vacation,” how his daughter hangs with the boys and the wildest road-trip food they’ve encountered.

Ronn Torossian/5WPR

Whooping it up with a war cry, Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete Schreiber enjoys testing out some feather headdresses with dad Liev Schreiber at a children’s recreation center in Sderot, Israel on Wednesday.

Liev, Naomi Watts, and sons Sasha, 22 months, and Samuel Kai, 6 months, are currently visiting the country with the Jewish National Fund.

Click here for a video of Liev introducing his family and describing the area while they plant a pistachio tree. (It’ll clear up any lingering questions readers have about what they call their boys!)

Mary Louise Parker Opens Up About Ash's Adoption

Neilson Barnard/Gett

The term dinner party takes on a whole new meaning in the Parker household! Appearing on the cover of Web MD‘s May issue, Mary Louise Parker proudly declares herself a balanced parent, “from permissive to disciplinarian,” adding that she provides a sense of structure for both William Atticus, 5 ½, and Caroline ‘Ash’ Aberash, 2 ½.

While she keeps a strict bedtime and is a stickler for manners, Mary Louise is also known for her impromptu dance parties. “Sometimes we’ll get up in the middle of dinner and have a dance party just because there’s music on and everybody’s happy,” she says. The fun doesn’t stop there for her children — the 44-year-old mom nurtures their artistic talents as well!

“There’s also one wall in my living room that the kids are allowed to paint on, and sometimes we’ll empty all the food that’s gone bad out of the refrigerator, put it in a bucket, mash it around, call it witches’ brew.”

Expanding her family of two with the adoption of her daughter in 2007, Mary Louise, admits undertaking the responsibility as a single mother was intimidating to say the least! “I finally just decided, ‘Okay, I’m going to do this, and it’s going to be really hard because I’m single, and I’m going to do it anyway,” she shares. Initially concentrating on Vietnam as her country of choice, when the actress was approached about the possibility of a child from Ethiopia, she never looked back. “It had never occurred to me before, but … I wanted to go somewhere where there was a need,” she explains.

“It’s not like I only wanted to enlarge my family. I really wanted to give a child a home.”

Despite her complete devotion to bringing baby girl home, Mary Louise admits both her and Ash faced criticism following their return. “Somebody asked what her name was, and I told them Aberash,” she recalls. “They said, ‘Did you make that up or did she come with that?’ Like she was a car!” That said, the proud mama was determined to keep her little girl’s name — the only gift, she says, the child had left from her biological mother.

“I can’t give her a locket, a picture, a letter — that’s it. That’s profound to me and I don’t want to rob her of it.”

William is the actress’ only child with actor Billy Crudup.

Steal That Style: Catch Up on Car Seats!

Celebrity Baby Blog – Steal That Style

Have car seat, will travel! With the addition of every baby comes the added expense of a car seat, and while there are a variety of options that branch out into each price range, celebrity parents seem to lean toward the beloved Graco.

Proudly showing off 2-day-old son Maxwell Edward, Lance Armstrong and girlfriend Anna Hansen opted for the Graco Snugride in Melbourne ($90) to welcome their newborn home from the hospital. Naomi Watts, who once depended on the Orbit system for son Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete, has had a change of heart: carrying her then 3-month-old son Samuel Kai to the pediatricians, she showed off her Graco Snugride back in March. New dad Matthew Settle also seems to have been bitten by the Graco bug! Out nine weeks after welcoming daughter Aven Angelica, the Gossip Girl star was spotted at an appointment with his baby girl snuggled in her Graco Snugride in Carmen ($160).

Other fans of Graco include Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn, who have been seen strolling with their fraternal twin daughters Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip tucked in their carriers, and Carson Daly, who walked the neighborhood with both son Jackson James and Graco in tow!

Although it is clear that the majority of stars seem to have chosen the Graco Snugride, we have managed to catch a few celebrities who have gone against the grain! In December we saw Gwen Stefani proudly carrying her second son Zuma Nesta Rock in his Brio car seat, while actress Natascha McElhone passed through an LAX terminal with her third son Rex relaxing in his Maxi-Cosi Mico.
