Storksak Jess: A Seriously Swanky Satchel

There are big changes afoot at Storksak. This spring, it introduced Jess ($158), a remarkably lightweight mid-size diaper bag measuring in at 15″ x 18″ x 5″. It comes complete with all the standard features you would expect of a bag in this price range, including lots of roomy internal pockets (one with zipper), a padded changing mat, an insulated bottle holder and a wipeable lining. My favorite features of the Jess, however, aren’t found on the inside.

Not only are there dual pockets on the front of the bag, but in the back there is a large pocket with elasticized drop-in pockets that are positively perfect for storing diapers and wipes. The shoulder strap is substantial and easy to adjust, while the canvas fabric (available in four colors) pops with contrast stitching. What’s more, the faux patent leather trim helps dress up what is — for the most part — a casual yet chic satchel.

I love the overall look of this bag; Available in navy, tomato, black and army, it’s perfect for an urban dweller who is reluctant to carry a diaper bag that screams ‘baby’… and as a bonus, it is big enough to fit a smaller laptop, giving it a postpartum life all its own.

lol my diaper bag cost me $25 and looks very similar. Does your average mom spend $158 on a diaper bag?
