I got a ju ju be spicy (large tote) on sale for $70 when it’s originally $150!!!! I definally think it’s worth the money since i stay at home and it has been my everyday bag for the last 20 months! Can’t even remember i the last time i used my purse…..especially now that i have two babies!

I’d rather buy a nice one that I can use for multiple babies than a cheap one that barely makes it through the first 6 months. And I like a versatile bag that can anywhere without stick out like a sore thumb.

I think a quality, stylish diaper bag is worth the investment, particularly when they often double as purses. I am 7 months pregnant with my first and have already purchased 2 diapers bags b/c I consider them purses and have been willing to spend up to $200 on each, although I bought both on sale ($90-kate spade and $139 Tim & Leslie bag–thanks to CBB)!

I have 5 kids age 12 years-8 months & I never have used a diaper bag!I just use a bigger than normal purse with a travel size thing of wipes, 2-3 diapers(LOVE my Diapees & Wippees carrier), a seasonally appropriate pair of pjs if baby need a change of clothes & 2 plastic grocery bags rolled up in case I need to put soiled clothes or a dirty diaper in them. I only take the essentials & it’s worked great for a dozen years.

My mother-in-law bought me a Le Sportsac back pack to use for a diaper bag, it’s in a Tokidoki print, for $200. I got it when I was pregnant with my now 19 month old and it’s held up perfectly! I’ve had other diaper bags fall apart in the same time frame. The print is the Amore print, so there’s no confusion as to who’s bag it is!

Seriously 150.00 PLUS for a diaper bag….I can’t get over this. 50.00 is reasonable IMO!

I made mine. It is perfect – just the right size with all the pockets I want, and it looks terrific. I get tons of compliments on it, from strangers and friends alike. Total cost = under $5.

I don’t think $100 or so is too much to spend for something you will carry every day for years. I bought a Zosephine and I’m so glad I did – it’s stylish so I don’t feel quite so much like a slob on those days I’m feeling a little tired from chasing a toddler! I think we mom’s deserve it!

i wanted a diaper bag that was stylish and didn’t look like a diaper bag. that’s why i LOVE my storksak. i get so many complements and most people don’t even know its a diaper bag. i’m rough on all my bags/purses and i’m glad to say that as cute as it is, it held up through all my abuse. for me paying a little more was worth it.

My diaper bag is my purse. Since I’m willing to spend a bit of money on my purse, why wouldn’t I spend a bit on my diaper bag? I only have one kid but I’m planning to have more so my expensive diaper bag is an investment. Those of you who won’t spend over $50 probably won’t spend more than $50 on ANYTHING on yourself. It’s one thing if you just don’t have the money for it, but if you are the kind of cheapskate who thinks that nice things are for suckers, well, you’re the sucker.

And by the way, if you use one of those crappy bags the hospital gives you, please cut off the formula tag. Nothing says “I’m a cheapskate” than one of those bags that says Enfamil or has a picture of a bear on it!

I think investing in cool diaper bags is a smart b/c they will most likely double as a purse for awhile! http://sweetbabystylishmom.com
