From the Maker of Windex Comes Nature's Source Cleaning Products

If you’re like me, you want to keep your kids safe and healthy, yet don’t want to sacrifice cleaning power. Enter Nature’s Source, a new line of plant-based biodegradable cleaning products from SC Johnson (the maker of Windex and Scrubbing Bubbles) that do the trick without the ick.

Natural Glass & Surface Cleaner ($3.70): Coming from the makers of Windex comparisons are to be expected but I am glad to report that the eco-version removes the little fingerprints on the TV, the sliding glass door and the oven door.

Natural Bathroom Cleaner ($3.50): One thing I obsess about is keeping my tub clean — with two kids being bathed daily, the tub can get pretty gunky pretty quick.  It used to take a long time to clean the tub, because after I would clean it, I felt compelled to rinse it out a few times to keep those harsh chemicals away from my kids’ skin. With the Natural Bathroom Cleaner I know my kids are safe AND my tub is clean (it’s from the makers of Scrubbing Bubbles after all!).

All-Purpose Cleaner ($3.50): With two toddlers, I’ve got diapers and pull-ups coming out of my ears and filling up my garbage cans. The All-Purpose Cleaner does a great job of removing the stink from the garbage cans and wiping up spills.

Toilet Bowl Cleanser ($3.50): Though it’s not as thick as it claims, this product cleaned the toilet quickly and the first time.

One thing I really loved about all the Nature’s Source products is they smelled wonderful, very pleasant.  So, if you’re looking for safer cleaning products to use around your house, why not try Nature’s Source?

Hooray! I’m always happy to see more eco friendly products come out on the market, especially from big manufacturers like this one. I’ll have to check these out.

FYI – The all-purpose cleaner kills ants instantly! My daughter is sensitive to ant bites (they swell up to the size of silver dollars), and I found an ant in the kitchen the other day, had the all-purpose cleaner in hand and just sprayed the ant to see what would happen. Dead in 1 second. This will be a great product to take along when we go camping.

I do buy natural cleaners, but the most eco-friendly, safe and natural cleaner is half water and half vinegar in a spray bottle.
