Andie MacDowell and Rainey Plant for a Purpose

Mommy-daughter date — for a cause! Actress (and L’Oreal Paris spokeswoman) Andie MacDowell was joined by daughter Rainey, 20, at L’Oreal’s Centennial Volunteer Day on Thursday in NYC.

More than 600 L’Oreal USA employees fanned out across New York City to do service projects to celebrate the company’s 100th anniversary — Andie and Rainey planted shrubs and flowers at East River Park and Corlears Hook Park in the Big Apple.

Andie, 51, is also mom to Justin, 23, and Sarah Margaret, 14.

They are both beautiful….but what I love, love, love is that Andie is a gorgeous middle aged women who does not look like she has been pulled, tugged and botoxed to within an inch of her existence. I wish more actresses would take her lead.

Whoa, wait… You think RAINEY’s a silly name? What about Bronx, Pilot Inspektor, Apple..? Come on! I have always loved Rainey as a name, it’s unique and normal at the same time. And Andie’s daughter sure is beautiful, a remember seeing a photo shoot of Andie and her two daughters years and years ago in a magazine – Sarah must have been around 4 or 5 so Rainey was around 10. She sure has grown up to be a stunning girl. I wonder how Sarah looks like nowadays!

I remember seeing a picture of Andie with a cherub baby boy many years ago on a cover of a fashion magazine..perhaps Harpers Bazaar. Hard to believe that baby boy is now 23

I remeber an article a long time ago from Vogue when Rainey had to be about 4 or 5yrs old and she was stunning back then. her eyes are gorgeous and just like the dads. the son was very handsome too…he has andie’s eye color. and andie…she is just one of the most beautiful woman around. it doesn’t look like she has done anything to her face and has aged so naturally and beautifully.
