For the Shaving Dad: LUSH Shave the Planet Gift

Men can be so difficult to shop for which makes Father’s Day especially challenging. Besides the cute projects your kids will undoubtedly bring home from school, we’ve pulled together some great options for you to get for dear old Dad — yours or your children’s! If you miss one, visit our Father’s Day Gift Guide category.

It might not be possible to shave the planet, but for the dad who shaves, here’s a great option from LUSH, who is known for their handmade skincare products that use fresh ingredients and don’t test on animals — the Shave the Planet Gift ($30).

The set includes four products wrapped in a fun comic strip: 3.5 oz Shave the Planet Shaving Cream infused with bamboo and made with anti-oxidant açai juice, vitamin-rich pumpkin seed and rosehip oils for a smooth shave; 0.35 oz Cosmetic Lad Moisturizer made with calming lavender, chamomile and marigold, antioxidizing wheatgrass, skin-softening sandalwood, toning tangerine and emollient cocoa butter to soothe the sensitive face; 3.5 oz Bamboo Soap made with cedar leaf oil, mimosa and cassie blossom that tones and cleanses; and 1.9 oz Business Time Massage Bar made with fair trade organic shea butter and cupuaca butter, which can also be used as a solid moisturizer.

I absolutely adore LUSH products! It started out as a bath bomb obsession, but quickly grew to include face scrub, moisturizer, and conditioner! My husband was skeptical about the entire store, only venturing to purchase the bath bombs and bubble bars as gifts for me, but then he ran out of his normal conditioner and had to use my American Cream. He is now as addicted as I am, and he loves their shaving products. He says they don’t have a smell that’s too girly or overwhelming, and they leave his face feeling smooth and refreshed.

I adore Lush, I’m so glad we now have a local store and I don’t have to go up to Auckland or Wellington! I’m totally obssessed.
