During a Wednesday night performance Bobby Brown, 40, announced the birth of his third son and fifth child overall. “I just had a baby,” he told fans assembled at the Rok nightclub in Las Vegas. “Four days ago – my son Cassius.”

Baby boy is the first child together for Bobby and his girlfriend of two years, manager Alicia Etheridge. Cassius joins Bobbi Kristina, 16, Bobby’s daughter with ex-wife Whitney Houston, at home along with Landon, LaPrincia, and Bobby Jr., his children from previous relationships.

The pregnancy was announced in February.

People still pay to see him perform??

I like the name Cassius. Cass for short!

Marilyn on

So he has two children named Bobby? One is a girl spelled Bobbi and one is a boy spelled Bobby. That’s unusual.

Rose on

Yeah, that’s what I thought, 2 kids with the same name would be so confusing!

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
