Anyway, why induce at all if you’ve having contractions? Why not just let nature take it’s course?

His wife had contractions all throughout the Indy race on May 24. There were times when they would cut into the race and show her standing in pit row with his crew giving updates on her labor. If I remember correctly at one point she said that the contractions had been 10 minutes apart for almost two hours. They should have had the labor induced long before that if Samantha was in labor since race day.
