X Factor Host Holly Willoughby Welcomes Son Harry James

Simon James/Wireimage

No spoiler from Simon Cowell this time! British TV presenter Holly Willoughby and her husband Dan Baldwin have announced that they welcomed their first child — a boy — Monday, May 11th! Son Harry James Baldwin was born at 1:18 p.m., weighing in at 7 lbs., 4 oz.

Wasting no time to share their happy news — Simon beat Holly to the punchline back in November when he announced her pregnancy — the couple have released a statement that reads,

“Mother and baby are doing well.”

Holly, 28, and Dan were married in August 2007.

Christina Aguilera: Max Has a Cleaning Fetish!

She’s known for her powerful pipes, ever-changing image and empowering anthems, like “Beautiful” and her most recent single, “Keeps Gettin’ Better.” But these days, Christina Aguilera, 28, is busy working on her most important project yet – being a mom to son Max Liron, 16 months, whom she and husband Jordan Bratman, 31, welcomed last year. Find out all about Max, how Christina’s changed since becoming a mom, her favorite thing to wear and more in these exclusive outtakes from her PEOPLE interview!

Andrew MacPherson for PEOPLE for use on CBB

How’s the little guy? Does he say any words yet?
He’s absorbing everything like a sponge right now. We have to be cautious what we’re saying around him! He’s speaking a little Spanish too. He said mama and papa months ago.

Vacuum was one of his first words! He has a cleaning fetish and he loves to run around with a rag and dust and clean, and he loves to clean his high chair after he’s done eating. It’s so cute! I’ll lift him down and the first thing he does is to take a rag and clean off his chair. He’s mommy’s little helper.

How have you changed since having Max?
My whole goal in life is to better myself as a person. One thing I’ve learned is patience. Having a child is a real eye-opener. It also gives you a new sense of beauty, because you feel more centered. I feel a deeper sense of happiness. And it’s funny, I get more done now! I know there’s a limited amount of time for everything now, and that really motivates me to cram as much in as I can in the amount of time I have. It’s made me balance and schedule things better.

Being a mom has made me do things I never did before. I’m a total vampire — but Max makes me go out into the sun or to the pool in the middle of the day. He brings out a different side of me that I’m really starting to enjoy.

Also, I never knew how beautiful the sound of laughter could be until my son started laughing. Tickle time is a very happy time! He loves when we’re silly, and he has a very silly mom, so it works out great.

Appaman Clothing: Let's Hear It For the Boy!

Superbolt Polo ($40) and Bulldog Tee ($34)

Admit it, when you think children’s fashion, you think girls. Walk into any kid’s clothing store and invariably the girls’ section will be almost double the size of the boys’. Fashion-conscious mothers of boys need to work just a little bit harder to achieve a cool look for their beloved boys.

Appaman ($28-78) is key to this challenge. When my son turned 5, a friend gave him a red Appaman T-shirt ($29) that simply had a giant white “5″ on the front. Brilliant, inspired. It’s as if the designer knew—this kid was proud of being five, and he wanted the world to know. Appaman’s designer Harald Husum just gets it — their graphic Ts manage to be hip without being too precious or snarky. Plus, they’re made of high-quality cotton in strong colors.

Maya Rudolph Expecting Second Child

Timothy Greenfield-Sanders/HBO

In the upcoming summer film, Away We Go, Maya Rudolph‘s character is pregnant. Well, off-screen, the actress is pregnant too!

The former Saturday Night Live star, 36, is expecting her second child with her partner, director Paul Thomas Anderson, she reveals in an interview slated to air Monday on ET Canada.

“I wasn’t planning on sharing it, but yes I am pregnant!” she tells the show. In a nod to the irony of playing pregnant, followed by actually being pregnant, she says, “I know it’s really weird timing.”

Already mom to daughter Pearl Bailey, 3 ½, Maya says her current pregnancy is “totally different” than her first one. “The first time you are like wide-eyed: ‘What are we doing?, Who’s coming?, How do we take care of them?’ But this time, I’m like I have to sit down, I’m pregnant.’”

She adds, “When you have a three-and-a-half-year-old, you don’t have time to rest and nap and do all those sweet pampering type things you did for yourself the first time. You are like, ‘I got to get to bed!’”

As for adding to her family, Maya says she’s psyched. “I feel like everyone who has had more then one [child], says you should do it. It’s nice to have this experience.”

Cool Irish Names For Babies: Finnegan's Just The Beginning

When our two little boys came along they needed to fit in with their father’s Irish heritage, and we gave them both my Scottish maiden name to keep my family name alive. First names were a struggle though. I wish I’d had a copy of “Cool Irish Names For Babies” by Pamela Redmond Satran and Linda Rosenkrantz ($12).

If you can wait long enough to get a look at the baby, this book has suggestions for cool names for redheads, brunettes and fair-skinned children. They suggest names from literature, stage and screen as well as celebrity baby names like Brooke Shields’ daughter Rowan and Jude Law’s son Rafferty. It has names popular in Ireland, saints’ names and names with cool meanings. Who knew Clooney meant “grassy meadow?” Read More

Matthew Broderick On His Baby Girls: 'I'm Nervous Just Even Thinking About It'

Bruce Glikas/FilmMagic

Bring on the pink! Set to welcome twin daughters this summer with his wife Sarah Jessica Parker, actor Matthew Broderick tells David Letterman during a recent appearance on his show that he is “ready” for whatever is thrown at him. His preparation, he says, comes after much sought out advice from fellow parents of multiples. “I’ve asked people what it’s like to have twins,” he shares. “One father said, ‘I don’t recommend it,’ but the rest have been very positive.”

Despite the — mostly — positive feedback, the 47-year-old clearly becomes a bit flustered when David mentions the Matthew will soon be a dad of, not only one, but two daughters!

“I’m nervous just even thinking about it, but it’s girls … two little girls.”

Matthew isn’t the only one gearing up for the summer additions! The doting dad reveals that his savvy son James Wilkie, 6 ½, is already looking out for his soon-to-be younger sisters, telling his parents “we have to get a lot of princess toys.” While James seems to be taking the news well, when it comes to being a big brother, Matthew jokes that his little boy is beginning to second guess himself.

“He’s pretty excited. He’s just now thinking, ‘Wait a minute, am I?’”
