Scott Baio and Family Rock the Red Carpet

It’s Chachi! Actor Scott Baio and family — wife Renee, stepdaughter Kalyn, 19, and daughter Bailey DeLuca, 18 months — do a red carpet run as they arrive at “The Bash” Charity Event Benefiting the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, held in Beverly Hills on Sunday.

Bailey is wearing a pink nova check dress from Burberry that was purchased in Italy and Robeez Mini Shoez in pink patent Mary Janes ($32). Renee and Kalyn are both wearing Sue Wong.

Scott looks great for 48 and renee and kalyn are pretty. Bailey is beautiful, looks just like renee to me. I love her burberry dress, they always have her dressed awesome in burberry, gucci, dolce gabbana, all nice clothes.

I realize they’re at a children’s charity, but why on earth are celebrities always dragging children to red carpet events. There can’t possibly be anything interesting for the baby to see/do there.

Sometimes babies are brought out onto the red carpet for photos to avoid stalking from the paparazzi from taking personal photos in private.

I see nothing wrong with taking your kids to red carpet events. They may have fun things for kids to play with there and they get to hang out with mom and/or dad. When I was little if I had a choice to stay home and play or go somewhere with my parents and be bored (church, a wedding, etc) I would always want to go with my parents because I liked being with them. Everyone always lays into Tori Spelling for the same thing and I think it’s awesome she spends so much time with them even with her busy schedule and I am sure they are content because they get to hang out with mom.

Also, is it just me, or was Bailey bald? I could swear she was a bald baby up until the last time we saw a picture of her, which wasn’t too long ago and now she has a full head of brown hair!

I think Suri Cruise was seen in either the same Burberry dress or a very similar one when she was around Bailey’s age!

Becky- I agree. When I was little, my mom and the other ladies at our church would gather at church to quilt a few times a month. Believe it or not, I actually always WANTED to go with her! So, usually, she did bring me along. There was a basket of toys there, and I loved being fussed over by all the ladies (most of them were on the elderly side and they all loved kids, so it was like having a bunch of loving grandmothers doting on you!)! In fact, sometimes I think they paid more attention to me than to the quilting (and no, no one ever complained!)! LOL!

You’d be surprised at the places little kids like going with their parents!

jessie- Actually, she is OLDER than Harlow. Harlow was born in January 2008, so she is 16 months old. Bailey is 18 months old and was born in November 2007.
