Jack’s already 6 1/2 years old?!? Where did the time go? I would’ve guessed he was 4ish at the most

I know, time flies. So glad Blink is back. Beautiful family. I know Skye said they were done having kids but they make such gorgeous ones I wish they would have just one more!

Isn’t Mark wearing a t-shirt from Travis’s clothing line?

This family is just too cute for words!

I am always so surprised when people CHOOSE to have an only child.

I respects others’ opinions and I have the “whatever floats your boat” mentality, but why would parents not want their child to have a sibling? Especially for those later years in life…

Anyone care to shed some light?

Lis, I don’t know if you’ll read this but I have an only child.I am one of nine siblings so believe me,I understand the joy of siblings and the intimacy of sisterhood/brotherhood. However,I opted to have my daughter and no more.A big part of this decision are my finances.I cannot support more than one child without going into debt or compromising my ability to save for college education. However, this is not a factor for a celebrity family.Another aspect of it is the beauty of my relation with my daughter. We have been through a lot, first loosing my husband/her father and then the nightmare of making her adoption official. Through thick and thin my child and I are the closest duo out there and I truly believe another child would feel like a stranger.Because he/she has not been through the challgenes Kingston and I have been there would be things another baby couldn’t share or feel a part of. Besides, most important of all, Kingston is all I want in life.I do not imagine myself with another child besides her. I understand that I’m not going to live forever but I trust in my child’s ability to build her own family and gather strenght from her community and her own personality when I’m no longer here. Just my two cents.

Lis, I’m with you, I don’t understand that either. We wanted another child to complete the family, didn’t feel done, and happy we did, realisenot for everyone but can’t imagine not having her now and Sam loves having a little sis, they’re great with each other. Feel for kids on their own, sad when they’re older and no nieces, nephews or extended family when own parents are gone, each to their own but we like having two, but as long as happy but I agree with you. We found adding one more is nice company for older child too, busier and more costs but worth it for the rewards, although not the only reason to add more….
