I know every woman has a right to have a child if/when ready, but I’m sorry, 66 is WAY too old for a baby and IMO incredibly selfish. She has a right to her opinion and feels right for her and probably figures what time she has is better than none with baby-to-be and her business etc, but does anyone else feel the same?@!, that it’s about HER not her child what she’s doing, when she’s almost 70?!, jeez…I thought I was older than I’d like being almost 33 when I had my first (but met hubby at just over 29 anyway) and just on 36 with 2nd but young in comparison of course! Having said that, no one knows what’s around the corner, could be hit by a bus tomorrow and age is irrelevant then but in terms of natural life expectancy can’t always think like that and she’s not likely to be around for long in child’s life, which is what I think is unfair, personally.

I agree. That story of the 66 year old pregnant woman is just shocking. I mean, when is it going to stop. There is a reason why women have the menopause, it’s because your body isn’t meant to conceive anymore. The wish for a child is understandable, but I’m sorry to say, at the age of 66 she’s at least 2 decades too late.
I feel sorry for that poor child, who will very likely lose his or her mum at a young age.
