Eva Longoria Parker, Tony Parker 'Always Practicing' For a Future Family

Revolutionpix/INF

Ever since tying the knot back in 2007, the pregnancy rumors have been swirling around Eva Longoria Parker and Tony Parker. While the speculations are a common thread among the tabloids, Eva tells Valentine in the Morning that she is clueless as to the sources! “I don’t know where that is coming from,” she laughs. “I should have had triplets by now if I was pregnant!”

Although the Desperate Housewives star and her husband “can’t wait to have a family,” 34-year-old Eva is quick to come clean on any of those supposed baby bumps she has been said to be sporting, saying that she and Tony are not expecting at the moment. However, that isn’t to say that the pair haven’t been practicing!

“We’re always practicing.”

Pressured to reveal the last time they “actively tried,” Eva simply giggles and confirms Valentine’s assumption that their practicing is similar to Tony’s basketball training: several times a day.

With all that practicing, perfection may soon be right around the corner! When that time does come, Eva tells E! that she has high hopes for her little ones after dedicating her time — she is the national spokesperson – to Padres Contra El Cáncer, a charity that offers support for Latino families dealing with the disease. “Every time I work with the kids from Padres, my heart just explodes with happiness and joy because they’re so inspiring,” she says. “I could only wish to have children as strong as the kids I’ve worked with.”

I think it’s so weird when people say they are “practicing” or “trying”… I guess I’m just a lot more private when it comes to talking about my own sex life…

“Pressured to reveal the last time they “actively tried,””…???

WHAT?! Is nothing sacred or private anymore? What on earth is wrong with reporters these days? Intrusive isn’t even the word for this. They’re like the mother in law from hell. But even my MIL (who can really push boundaries sometimes, let me tell ya) knows a question like this is off-limits. I know Eva is really open with her personal life so some people will say she brought this on herself but I think this is too much. Eva should not have answered this question at all, but the article say she ‘giggled’ in response so what do I know. I now understand why some celebs get so lippy in interviews. But then again there are some members of the public who actually think asking questions like this is cool.

Too much information.

Ok Eva…we all know that you and Tony have LOTS AND LOTS of sex, you keep reminding us.

T.M.I. :(

Totally agree. Enough already (from both sides of the interview table).

Okay, I don’t want anybody to view this the wrong way when I say this, but does it bother anybody else when these thirty-something celebrities are just like “oh, I’ll have 3 or more kids in a couple of years” like their age won’t be a factor? Like pregnancy will happen for them whenever they want it to? I mean, sure, maybe problems won’t occur, but maybe they will. Eva isn’t 24, she’s 34. I know tons of “older” moms who were easily able to get pregnant as they got closer to 40…other moms have a heck of a time. IDK, it just rubs me the wrong way.

- Chelsea on

I’m laughing at having had exactly the same reaction as several posters above – too much information!! LOL! It’s nice for them but I could have done without knowing that. I would be sooo embarrassed to be Eva if my dad happened to read this interview.

I think as wealthy people, it frankly is more easy for celebrities to take it more casually that they can have children as they get older. No quality medical care is off limits to them, whether through expense or the expense and hassles of travel to get it. They can easily acquire donor eggs, or find and compensate financially a good surrogate mother. As a “last resort” (to some) they can easily finance all the fees of adoption whether agency or private. When it comes to making what they desire happen, though they are subject to the same biological limitations as everyone else, they (as highly wealthy people) simply have the ability to smooth the path in every other way possible. That’s not the real world for most of us.

I wish reporters and so on would live Eva alone. (and every other celebrity) This thing of constant pregnancy rumors drives me nuts. When a woman is really pregnant, they have the right to keep it to themselves. Eventually it will come out, either through an announcement or through an obvious belly. Leave them alone!

“(…) The following types of comments will not be posted:

explicit sexual references(…)”

hahahaha its funny because Eva always do that, i really i dont mind if she is trying or not… i dont know why you guys post blogs like this one…!!! Its not the big deal but its just the kind of commentaries that nobody wants to listen or to read.

1) I think Eva was joking about her response and that’s why she “giggled”: she was trying to be outrageous b/c it was a totally inappropriate question.

2) Chelsea, it does to me too but I don’t think that’s the case here. Eva isn’t saying she’s putting off kids right now, she’s just saying she’s not pregnant yet. Maybe she and Tony are having fertility issues and just trying to be positive about it to the media, saying that yah someday she’d love to have kids.

- MZ on

I think Eva was just trying to give an outrageous answer to an outrageous question. It has to have gotten tiresome over the past few years for her to answer the same questions over and over. Maybe she is just trying to get a rise out of the interviewers in response to almost 3 years of being drilled about getting pregnant.

- Cindy on

I love Eva’s responses to questions like that. They are so over the top, but it’s the only way to handle inappropriate questions.

- Mary-Helen on

Chelsea, Eva has been openly trying for a long time for children, so its a sensitive issue for her. She doesnt want to put if off!!

I just wish people would stop asking this question- its rude and innapropriate. Who knows if she can even have children- imagine the pain of that question over & over & over….

and BTW I wouldnt really consider her in the “older” category just yet. 34/35 isnt exactly old for a first time mom these days!

- iluvallbabies on

I agree with many other posters…Eva gives too much information, IMO, when it comes to her sex life. And, this didn’t just start after she and Tony married…it started when they were dating. So many interviewers head straight into “that” territory with her because she wants to talk about it and doesn’t mind giving the world intimate details. I don’t know if it’s for shock value or if she wants attention any way she can get it or why she’s so intent on discussing this aspect of her life. She went so far as to state (and I’m not quoting, only paraphrasing) that she was the “teacher” in their relationship. It’s just so incredibly tacky, IMO.

- SouthernBelle on

While it indeed is TMI regarding how much Eva and Tony are practicing getting pregnant, they really don’t have any options because they are basically barraged by questions of “are you pregnant?” or “when are you going to have kids?” by everyone from reporters to their family. So really, what are they supposed to say? “None of your business” then let the rumours fly that every little pooch Eva has is a baby bump?
