In between busy careers and burgeoning families, celebrity moms and dads often find time to pay their good fortune forward. Whether volunteering their time and energy with a charity, lending their name to draw attention to a cause or donating personal items to an auction, they are often the first in line.

We at CBB think that these special celebrities deserve to have their philanthropic work spotlighted. We’ll be doing just that in Caught Caring, our new weekly column devoted entirely to the issues that matter most to the moms and dads you most enjoy. Instead of catching celebrities making mistakes, we’ll catch them in the act of caring. We’ll also be bringing you news on baby and kid brands that make it a point to give back to the community — each and every Thursday.

We’re excited to feature our first Caught Caring piece, a celebrity charity auction sponsored by Johnson’s Baby!

Want your baby to be as well-dressed as Jessica Alba’s daughter Honor Warren? Or are you ready to rock Gwyneth Paltrow’s post-baby body? Then check out the new Mother’s Day charity auction from Johnson’s Baby, which launches today, Thursday, May 7 and runs through May 14 at

Little Honor’s hand-me-downs include this limited-edition Maclaren Juicy Couture Ryder Stroller, Hello Kitty rain gear, and a stack of her baby clothes. Meanwhile, Paltrow donated the services of her trainer, Tracy Anderson — who also works with Madonna — which includes a personal consultation, one-on-one training and her workout DVDs. And you can bid guilt-free: 100 percent of the proceeds benefit the Clean Water Initiative.

Mom Said It

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
