Pliner JRs: Gold, Silver and Patent Leather for Summer 2009

Donald J. Pliner’s line of children’s shoes, Pliner Jrs, continues to feed my shoe obsession. I have always loved his flats, and the Summer 09 collection has plenty of his signature flats to choose from, but these gladiator sandals really sent me over the edge.

Ripe with golds, silvers and patent leathers in rich, vivid colors (think orange and hot pink), the line includes everything from ballerina flats to thong sandals. Though on the pricier side, these shoes are incredibly well-made and very much worth the money.

If you are anything like me, your biggest “problem” will be having to choose only one pair to adorn your child’s feet.

A childs foot is too small so the gladiator style doesn’t really work.

i will never buy djp shoes again i bought them for my daughter and they look like crap after a few wearings the leather is cheap and thin. i usually buy her italian or spanish shoes like lelie kelly natureno, petit shoes or premegie but my daught fell in love with them and had to have them with in 2 wearings it was compleatly scuffed abd dameged. my daughter’s shoes normaly look like they are brand new for the first few months some shoes even look good after she finished wearing them.
