Another Duggar On the Way!

TLC

Looks like there’s not going to be a shortage of Duggars anytime soon.

Joshua Duggar, 21 – the oldest of 18 kids born to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of Tontitown, Ark. – and his wife, Anna, 20, are expecting a baby of their own.

“I am very excited and am learning new ways every day that I can be there for my wife,” Joshua tells PEOPLE. “I thought that she would be the only one going through the emotions of pregnancy, but I’m right there with her.”

So “right there” that it was actually Joshua who gave Anna the big news.

“I took the pregnancy test, but I couldn’t bear to look at it because I didn’t want to be disappointed,” Anna explains. Joshua managed to keep the positive test a secret and announced it to the whole Duggar family, including Anna, later that night. “I said, ‘You’re going to join the Mommy team,’” Joshua says.

The couple’s happy news was first reported on Monday’s Today show.

minui HandySitt: The Handiest Little High Chair in Town

My parents’ house has had a big high chair smack dab in the middle of the dining room for four years. But since we’ve been using our new minui HandySitt ($149) — an incredible portable high chair — there’s suddenly a lot more space in there when we visit. And my daughter couldn’t be happier now that she gets to join everyone at the table.

This ingenious wooden high chair, suitable for children from 6 months to 5 years, attaches to almost any dining chair and is an absolute breeze to set up. About five minutes after opening the box, I was sitting my daughter down to dinner with the rest of us. And when dinner’s done, the chair can stay in place (it takes up much less space than a traditional high chair) or it can fold down flat and tuck away.

From Egg Hunts to Bunny Trees, Stars Reveal Their Easter Plans

Sara Jaye Weiss/Startraks

Bring on the chocolate bunnies and egg hunts! Set to celebrate Easter Sunday yesterday, celebrities were happy to spill the beans on their plans to Entertainment Tonight in the days leading up to the holiday. While Vanessa Williams and her family had a quiet day that included mass and “a nice brunch” followed by their own famous Easter egg hunt, actor Charlie Sheen was hoping to dodge any Easter bunny duties, joking to ET‘s Mark Steines that he would be packing up his brood and heading to his house for the day!

For 7 ½-year-old Dallas, son of Fred Durst, gearing up for Easter means recycling the Christmas tree — a decoration that, in their house, is kept out all year long! “I’m going to make it an Easter-Christmas tree and we put up eggs and bunnies on it and that’s what we’re going to do this weekend with my son Dallas,” 38-year-old Fred revealed last week.

While all the stars were looking forward to spending time with their families, actor Jon Cryer joked he would pass the holiday with his own hunt — looking for eggs that he himself hid!

“Unfortunately, I don’t have my son that weekend so it’s just going to be a sad, little Easter egg hunt for me by myself … and I know where I hid them! It’s just embarrassing, the whole spectacle.”

Vanessa has Melanie, 22, Jillian, 20, and Devin, 16, with ex-husband Ramon Hervey, and daughter Sasha Gabriella, 8 ½, with NBA player Rick Fox. Charlie recently welcomed fraternal twin boys Max and Bob, 4 weeks, with wife Brooke Mueller; in addition he has daughters Sam, 5, and Lola, 3 ½, with ex-wife Denise Richards and Cassandra, 25, from a previous relationship. Jon has Charlie Austin, 8 ½, with Sarah Trigger.

Bear Grylls Offers Tips for Surviving a Homebirth

Brian Ach/WireImage

As the host of Man vs. Wild, Bear Grylls is used to testing his limits. But his skills as a husband were truly put to the test when wife Shara decided to deliver the couple’s third son, 3-month-old Huckleberry Edward Jocelyne, on the couple’s houseboat. In a story for the April 2009 issue of Men’s Journal, the 34-year-old survivalist gave expectant fathers advice on how to “survive” a homebirth.

The couple “both love home,” and after having suffered through “a few bad experiences” himself, Bear admits he’s developed “a pretty healthy hatred of hospitals.” Together they decided to pursue a homebirth, an experience Bear describes as “absolutely brilliant.”

“The cons are that you have quite a lot of blood and gore, and you don’t have the emergency help if it all starts to go pear-shaped. But then again, she feels safe and secure, and she’s got me hovering over her with a toolbox. What more can an expecting mother want?”

Acutely aware of his role in the equation — telling the magazine “all I was there for, really, was reassurance” — Bear used his “homeopathic kit” to distract his laboring wife. “The more pain she was in, the more I was going ‘What are your symptoms?’” Bear recalls. “And then I’d list all these wacky things that homeopathic pills work for.” In the end, Huckleberry was born safe and sound, and an “amazing” Shara left her husband awestruck.

“Girls are so great in a big crisis. I’ve seen it in the mountains, too. Men are all great when it’s quite comfy and there’s lots of bravado, but when the sh-t really hits the fan, it’s the women who often come through.”

In addition to Huckleberry, Bear and Shara are parents to Jesse, 5 ½, and Marmaduke, 3.
