Sound Off! Have You Considered Permanent Birth Control?

When some couples start out, they know right away how many children they’d like to have. So when they hit that “magic” number, many often opt for a permanent birth control procedure to set things in stone.

After welcoming daughter Blakesley Grace on April 3rd, Trista and Ryan Sutter announced Trista would get the Essure procedure, while Biggest Loser star Matt Hoover underwent a vasectomy midway through wife Suzy Preston Hoover‘s pregnancy with their second son, Jax Paul. Many celebrity families have likely done the same.

So here’s your chance to Sound Off! Tell us if you’ve considered or gone through with a permanent birth control procedure once you’re “done” having children.

Ana Ortiz Dishes on Baby Shower Plans

As she awaits her “babymoon,” Ana Ortiz is poised to mark yet another milestone for many first-time expectant moms — the baby shower! Expecting a daughter in July, the 38-year-old actress will be honored at a fête to be thrown by Ugly Betty costume designer Patricia Field. Raving about the “family atmosphere” on the set of the hit ABC show, Ana tells OK! she’s looking forward to her big day.

“She told me, ‘I’m going to throw you a baby shower,’ and I started crying…[It's] pretty awesome.”

That’s not to say that some ground rules haven’t been established, however! Ana says she’ll remain happy “as long as I don’t have to play those corny games where they wrap me in toilet paper, and I’m there with my friends and having a group of drunk people celebrating babies!”

Baby-on-the-way will be the first for Ana and her husband Noah Lebenzon.

A Zev Update From Marissa Jaret Winokur!

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything about Mr. Zev Isaac Miller, so we decided to ask mama Marissa Jaret Winokur for a little update! The Broadway babe and Dancing With the Stars alum shared some new photos and caught us up on her little rascal, now 8 months old!

CBB: What’s Zev up to lately? What are his latest milestones? It looks like he’s getting teeth!

MJW: Yes, two front teeth! He is wonderful and very active — he climbs on anything and up stairs!

He says “Ma ma” and “buh bye,” laughs so hard and loves playing peek-a-boo! He picks up everything and in the mouth it goes! I have had a few scares with pebbles at the park!

What are his favorite books and activities?

He loves EVERY book! Zev will now sit for a story with his daddy [Judah Miller], it melts my heart! He loves to turn pages and … well, eat the book, so we stick to cardboard ones, no paper.

Just like me, he loves being outside. I like pulling him around the neighborhood in his new wagon. He loves the swings, playing in the pool, and crawling all around the grass.

His favorites toys are his bubble machine and standing push-toy. We love My Gym and wish we could go there every day. Zev also loves Yo Gabba Gabba and kicking his legs to the beat — he loves music!

So … who do you think will win Dancing With the Stars?

Oh my God, I love love love [former partner] Tony [Dovolani] and Melissa [Rycroft]!

Also loving Lil Kim … they both have great stories about coming back and saying, “Look at me now!!!” I love a comeback story in high heels, bedazzled dresses and spray on tans — who doesn’t?!

Marcia Cross Cuddles Close

How cute! Marcia Cross gives each of her girls a squeeze while cuddling with 2-year-old twins Savannah and Eden at a Santa Monica park on Friday afternoon.

In her recent interview with us, Marcia talked about the photographers that snap pictures of her and the girls. “I realized that there was nothing I could do about [being photographed]. Being upset about the paparazzi would put me in a cranky mood and ruin my time. I decided I didn’t want that to happen, so I’ve just ignored them.

There have been a couple of times when I’ve gotten upset, usually when boundaries are crossed. There’s a certain protocol that even the paparazzi seem to follow, and when that’s broken then I get a bit outraged. But for the most part if they keep their distance, my children don’t really know what’s going on, so I’m fine with that … Sometimes they’re nice – they’ve given me pictures, or they’ll give me privacy for a day.”

Dad is stockbroker Tom Mahoney.

Jenna Jameson Credits Crunches For an Easy Delivery

No last minute rush to the hospital for Jenna Jameson! In her first update to her MySpace page since welcoming fraternal twin boys Jesse Jameson and Journey Jette, now 4 weeks, the proud new mama reveals she was admitted to the hospital long before the birth. “I spent two months in Hoag hospital on bed rest, in order to try to take my twins to term,” she shares. The result? Carrying the babies seven weeks shy of their May 3rd due date! “Well, I came pretty close!” she writes. “Thirty-three weeks was my magic date and I delivered my boys on March 15th.”

While it may have been a long road to ensure the safe arrival of the twins, when it came to Jenna’s labor, the 35-year-old barely had time to catch her breath! With the whole ordeal lasting “about two hours,” Jenna credits her crunches for the easy delivery experience.

“When it came to pushing them out, I truly believe the 500 sit ups a day paid off. I was able to push my 5-pound Jesse out in five pushes. Journey, who was 4 lbs., 11 oz, in three pushes.”

Thrilled with the “whole process of being pregnant,” Jenna blogs that she looks forward to having more children with partner Tito Ortiz. However, for now, the couple are soaking up time with their “two little monsters” as she learns the ropes of parenthood. “By the way, Jesse looks like me and Journey looks like Tito!” she gushes. “I feel like the luckiest girl ever!”

Boy is her hair getting long! Frances ‘Frankie’ Pen Benioff — wearing some stylish striped tights with her denim mini — took a time-out to get re-adjusted by mom Amanda Peet while on a park playdate Saturday in Beverly Hills.

Frankie, 2, is the first child for Amanda and her husband, writer David Benioff. Amanda, 37, has three new films due out this year after most recently appearing in X-Files: I Want to Believe.

Jessica Rowe and Peter Overton Welcome Daughter Giselle Charlotte

It’s another girl for Australian presenter Jessica Rowe and television journalist Peter Overton! The couple welcomed daughter Giselle Charlotte Overton on Thursday, April 9th. She weighed in at 6 lbs., 8 oz. “Mum and baby are doing really well and Peter is thrilled,” according to Channel Nine spokeswoman Heidi Virtue. Little Giselle “came slightly early” which caused Peter to end an interview that he was conducting for 60 Minutes after Jessica called saying “right, we’re on.”

Giselle is the second daughter for Jessica and Peter, who are also parents to Allegra Penelope, 2. The couple announced the pregnancy in October.
