Grey’s Anatomy‘s star Ellen Pompeo — who announced her pregnancy on Sunday evening — kept busy on Monday despite the newfound paparazzi attention!
The actress, 39, took her two dogs to the groomers before hitting the gym for a workout. We spy a small bump!
The baby, due this fall, will be the first for Ellen and husband Chris Ivery.

The Quattro Tour Travel System ($250-270) is part of Graco’s vast range of safe and affordable baby gear. The travel systems include a full-featured stroller and matching SnugRide infant car seat. We bought the SnugRide for our first son four years ago and relied on it for both boys. I found that most of my friends used the same seat and it’s definitely a standard piece of equipment. Of course the stroller accommodates the car seat without any expensive adapters. It clicks to the the toddler tray then two latches in the stroller lock the foot of the carseat in place. (Note that the travel system comes with the basic SnugRide seat, not the new 32-pound limit version.)
Pros: Full recline. Gigantic basket. Easy car seat compatibility. Simple, one-hand fold.
Cons: Hard plastic tires with little traction. Not particularly fashion forward in its design.
Final Verdict: The Quattro Tour is an affordable stroller that can be used for newborns (with or without the car seat) all the way up to toddlerhood. It’s not for off-roading but is extremely functional and easy to use.

For Samia Smith, a 26-year-old actress appearing on the UK soap Coronation Street, the last few days have brought a whirlwind of emotion. In a state of mourning following her father’s death from cancer last week, today she reveals that she is expecting her first child. “I am so pleased that we were able to tell my dad about the baby before he died,” she tells The Sun.
Samia is no stranger to bumps! Coronation Street has experienced quite a baby boom over the last year – with nine of its cast members either expecting or having recently welcomed a child – and Samia’s character on the show is already pregnant. “I have been pregnant on screen for the best part of the past two years and as soon as I get rid of the fake baby bump I will have a real one,” she notes.
Baby-on-the-way is due in October, and will also be the first for Samia’s husband Matt Smith.

Taking advantage of the beautiful weather in NYC on Saturday, Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts took their boys — Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete, 21 months and Samuel ‘Sammy’ Kai, 4 months — out in Soho, where they shopped at Steven Alan before picking up takeout to eat at home.
With the paparazzi following close behind, Liev — with a little help from Sasha! — pointed out the way they were headed while Sammy snoozed in the lower half of the stroller.

Noting that he has a “great backyard” in the form of the Pacific Ocean, it’s only a matter of time before little Levi Alves McConaughey, 9 months, is riding the waves alongside dad Matthew McConaughey. “I’ve already got him in the water, but not on a surfboard,” the 39-year-old actor dishes to E! “It will kind of be up to him…I’m sure he’s going to want to try it out, and if he likes it, it will be something great to do every day.”
“We’ll get him out there soon, floating around.”
His Ghosts of Girlfriends Past co-star Jennifer Garner, on the other hand, has a more straightforward wish-list for daughters Violet Anne, 3, and Seraphina Rose, 3 months. “I just want them to be happy,” the 37-year-old actress admits. “I don’t care what they do…I really don’t!”
During the film’s shoot, Matthew’s partner Camila Alves was pregnant with Levi and while Jennifer didn’t offer up any specific parenting advice, she still left a lasting impression. “[Jennifer] was a pretty good example, that now I can speak to, just by watching her on set be a mother and a professional actress and a pro at both,” Matthew tells Entertainment Tonight. Both appear to have been blessed by easy-going babies; Matthew is quick to point out that Levi has “been out of the country five times” already, as well as on a “a long road trip.” Seraphina, meanwhile, is “really good,” Jennifer raves; While husband Ben Affleck is officially outnumbered, he doesn’t seem to mind. She adds:
“There’s a lot of estrogen but so far he’s handled it pretty well.”

Naomi Lowde-Priestley — who announced last week that baby no. 2 is on the way! — showed off her belly progress while arriving at the 24th Annual Odyssey Ball with husband Jason Priestley. The new little one will join big sister Ava Veronica, 21 months.
The event was held Saturday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., and benefits the John Wayne Cancer Institute at St. John’s Health Center.
Brandon Walsh lovers can catch Jason, 39, on the new 90210 series — but behind the cameras only! The actor is directing a number of episodes of the show this season.
