Jennifer Lopez Says Twins are 'Like Night and Day'

Kevin Mazur/WireImage

When Jennifer Lopez was pregnant with twins Emme Maribel and Maximilian ‘Max’ David, 14 months, she continued to tour alongside husband Marc Anthony well into her second trimester. All that time spent in utero on stage with their songstress mother hasn’t translated into two musically-inclined toddlers, however. “There’s no singing,” Jennifer joked during a Tuesday appearance on Live with Regis & Kelly. “Just lots of screaming.” While they may have that in common, there isn’t much else that Max and Emme share. “It’s like night and day,” Jennifer, 39, reveals.

“It’s like, this is little man, this is little woman. She’s very delicate and precise and careful not to fall, and he’s just barreling through everything, screaming and eating everything he can get his hands on.”

Their differences aside, Jennifer is thrilled by the boy-girl combination because it made the decision of whether or not to have more children easy. “One of each, all done,” she said. “No more.”

“I got a boy and I got a girl. It was very efficient of me!”

The news that she was poised for motherhood caught Jennifer off-guard, however. “At a certain point, you start to think, ‘Oh, maybe this isn’t going to happen for me,’” she explains of getting pregnant. When — at 7-weeks along — she got the news that not only was she expecting, but expecting times two, Jennifer says she was floored.

“Right away [the doctor] said, ‘Oh there’s a little heartbeat. Oh there’s another little heartbeat.’ I was like, ‘Oh God’… I just laughed. Marc cried, I laughed. I was like…’Of course. Why not?’”

Two Anaheim Ducks Welcome New Babies

Dave Sandford/Getty

The NHL playoffs are underway and the wives of two Anaheim Ducks are showing that they are team players in their own right! Caroline Marchant, wife of forward Todd Marchant, and Marie Claude Beauchemin, wife of defenseman François Beauchemin, both delivered babies on Monday, a day off between home games.

According to the LA Times, Marie Claude and François welcomed a daughter, Emily Beauchemin, via c-section. She weighed in at 7 lbs., 13 oz and joins the couple’s son Samuel at home.

Caroline and Todd, on the other hand, welcomed a son, Bradley David Marchant, following an induction. He weighed in at 7 lbs., 6 oz. and is 20 inches long. The following day, the proud papa — still wearing his hospital wristband — told reporters that “if it were up to [Caroline], she’d be at the game tonight.” He then mused, “she may come and not tell me because she knows I’ll be mad at her.”

It appears as though Todd knows his wife well: The newspaper reports that Caroline did indeed attend Tuesday night’s clash with the San Jose Sharks, with all four kids in tow – including the couple’s newborn son! There were no signs of anger from Todd after the game, however.

“You have a beautiful child, you’re in the playoffs. Life doesn’t get much better than that.”

Todd and Caroline are already parents to daughters Lillian and Ashley and son Timothy.

Angie Harmon Says Daughters 'Love and Adore' New Baby

Jason Merritt/Getty

A house full of girls can be intense, but Angie Harmon says there’s been nothing but sisterly love since new baby Emery Hope, 4-months, arrived in December. “She’s amazing and they love and adore her,” Angie says of older daughters Finley Faith, 5 ½ and Avery Grace, 3 ½. “The whole procedure we thought there was going to be — lots of jealousy and craziness — and [there wasn't], they just adore her!  So it’s been a lot of fun.” From the sound of things, it would be hard to stay mad at Emery for long! Angie says that her newest daughter has a sunny disposition.

“She literally has been smiling since day one and no one believes me but, [she has]. Now that everyone knows her personality they are like, ‘She is smiling!’”

Praising husband Jason Sehorn as “literally the best father on the planet,” the 36-year-old actress reveals that the former professional football player “does the morning shift.” Jason wakes up bright and early with the girls, gets them dressed, fed and off to school, while Angie picks them up from school, brings them home and prepares dinner. Although they appear to be in a groove with their schedules and their three daughters, Angie reiterates that they are definitely done having kids! “I am sort of taking some time off and being picky and choosy [with acting jobs] because this is my last baby,” she explains. “She is only a baby for so long and then that’s it.”

One thing is for certain: The benefits of baby were still on display Tuesday as Angie helped celebrate the opening of the Malibu Lumber Yard. Although she was sporting a Max Azria dress, when asked what she was wearing Angie joked, “My girls!” She added,

“I don’t even know how to dress with these things! I’m like trying to cover them up and Jason’s like ‘Let ‘em show!’”
