Jessica Alba Already Preparing For Honor's First Birthday

Ramey

Many CBB readers have marveled at the size of Honor Marie Warren, the 10-month-old daughter of Jessica Alba and Cash Warren, and in a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno the 27-year-old actress said that looks are not deceiving. “She’s a big girl,” Jessica observed. “She’s almost as big as me! She’s, like, 25 pounds.” The family of three is looking forward to Honor’s upcoming first birthday but Jessica admits that planning the party is “stressful.”

“The first birthday is really more for the parents. I don’t know. We might do, like, Dumbo … we might have music. I’m going to bake a cake that she can eat and put all over her face.”

Speaking of the latter, Jessica did a test run at Easter with “organic, dairy-free, egg-free cupcakes.” While the cupcakes themselves were “awesome” and “moist,” Jessica says that the icing “sucked” — so she decided to take a detour from the health-food route, and opted for icing in a can! “It was like, all this organic stuff and then canned icing,” she laughed.

One thing is for sure, Honor doesn’t seem to be a picky eater! “She is a very healthy girl,” Jessica agreed.

Got a Question for Tracy Hutson?

Axelle/Bauer-Griffin

An acclaimed interior designer, Tracy Hutson made her mark as part of the design team on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. With Samantha Who?‘s Barry Watson since 2003 and mom to their two little boys — Oliver, 4 next month, and Felix, 17 months — Tracy knew exactly how she wanted her sons’ rooms to look: “Mentally stimulating yet emotionally comforting, maximizing safety, and built and decorated with a healthy dose of environmental responsibility.” She’s spun her ideas into a new book, Feathering the Nest: Tracy Hutson’s Earth-Friendly Guide to Decorating Your Baby’s Room, out next Friday.

We’ll be chatting with Tracy about the book, her boys, as well as eco-chic and budget-friendly ways you can decorate your infant’s nursery. We’d like to include your questions as well, so please leave them below!

Carnie Wilson Primps With a Pedicure

Limelight

Treating herself to a mani/pedi, Carnie Wilson was spotted out in Sherman Oaks, Calif. on Wednesday. Due with daughter Luciana in June, Carnie, who turns 41 next week, opened up about how her second pregnancy is different than her first with Lola Sofia, 4.

“My body is used to being pregnant and my uterus knows what to do. The great news is that I’m able to exercise this pregnancy. I’m walking a lot. I’m not a hiking kind of pregnant chick — that’s so not me. But I’m eating healthy. Emotionally, I’m excited and feel more proud. I’m 40 and pregnant, you know! And I’m carrying a few extra pounds, but that’s okay.”

Carnie can currently be seen hosting The Newlywed Game on The Game Show Network. She also recently gave us a peek at Luciana’s nursery — check it out here!

Anthony Kiedis Says Everly is 'a Good Hang'

Mike/Fame

Anthony Kiedis — with on-again, off-again girlfriend Heather Christie by his side — was on hand to mark the Malibu Lumber Yard opening on Tuesday, but it was fatherhood the 46-year-old rocker seemed most in the mood to celebrate. Calling 18-month-old Everly Bear the love of his life, Anthony added, “I feel very lucky to be his dad.” Lucky, indeed! The couple shared that Everly sleeps 11 hours straight each night, leading Anthony to proclaim his son “the best roommate” he’s ever had.

“He’s just a good hang. He’s funny. He doesn’t cost a lot to keep up.”

When asked how baby boy has changed him for the better, Anthony noted “you can’t really care about yourself as much as you used to.” Taking the focus off himself is “a good thing,” Anthony said, adding ”it also gives me a cool guy to hang out with.” Everly is already showing signs of being “a good dancer,” and should he choose to pursue a career in music it sounds as though his dad won’t stand in the way. Says Anthony,

“I’m going to offer him as much as I can and he gets to choose what he wants to do.”
