I think what Katie and Peter are doing is great, but can we stop referring to children with disabilities as ‘disabled children’? Also, it’s a child with Down Syndrome or autism, not an autistic child or a Down Syndrome child. It’s just something that gets on my nerves, especially since my mom is a SpEd teacher and has been working with people with disabilities for years now.

I didn’t know that was Princess’s full name. I wonder if Esther has a family connection, or is to honour Katie’s Jewish roots, I believe her maternal grandmother was Jewish (which would make Katie Jewish too of course).

there is a bit about this family that gets under my skin, but, i think how they parent and love harvey is great. they don’t keep him or his challenges out of the public eye: quite the opposite. as a mom of an autistic kiddo (my hubby runs marathons and raises $$$ for an austic organzation), it thrills me when parents open up and show the world that kids w/ challenges have just as much place in this world than anyone else.

They both did so well in the marathon. The causes for which they raised the money for are well worth it.

#4 – Andreas is Peters real last name but his stage name is Andre, which Katie now uses as her stage name since they renewed their wedding vows a few months ago.

Yep, that’s Princess’s full name. It’s written in Katie’s autobiography.
Also, andreas isn’t a middle name of Junior’s it’s their real surname.

I’ve never heard of those middle names, just the Princess Tiaamii bit. I actually prefer the last two middle names to the first two names! Also, is Andreas a middle name as well? Because I know their family surname is Andrea (Peter dropped the ‘a’ professionally) and it seems odd to have two such similar names.

Well Done to Jordan and Peter especially as she sustained an injury during the mararthon but battled on to finish. I guess that picture of Harvey on her tshirt pulled her through after all
