Heidi Klum Dishes on Her Maternity Style Secrets

Heidi Klum might be pregnant with her fourth child, but she shows no sign of giving up her sexy style.

The supermodel, who was the host of the LG Rumorous Night in Hollywood to celebrate her new backplate designs for the phone, didn’t let her new baby bump get in the way of looking fabulous.

Clad in a flowing one-shoulder Thomas Wylde chiffon dress and sky-high Christian Louboutin heels, Heidi tells PEOPLE that she skips the maternity stores all together.

“I love to be creative and find cute things in between,” she says. “It’s about finding good shapes. Cool tops. Right now for example, I love the skinny pants and blousier tops, and then when I get bigger, I like to bring the form back to the body. Then I like to show it off.”

Heidi credits Balenciaga’s black jeans as her go-to pair during pregnancy. “They are super stretchy, and they are not very high, so you can kind of fit them under the belly. The bump on top can still grow.”

Though Heidi has her super-star stylist to help her find the right looks for Project Runway and other red carpet appearances, Heidi sticks to a harder look for everyday wear. “I love the lumberjacks and the ripped jeans. They are comfortable. I love over-sized t-shirts and jeans.” Pregnant or not, we think Heidi always looks fantastic!

This woman doesn’t need a maternity syle..She is so gorgeous she would look great in a plaid picnic table cover..

I agree…pregnant or not, she’s fabuloso!!!

This woman is always beautiful but she is simply stunning when pregnant. She should always be preggers lol.

- txgal on

I love her style! Especially towards the end when she wears tight tops and shows off her belly.

While I agree that snugger-fitting tops can look attractive towards the end…I am not a fan of showing actual skin which happens a lot more than I would like to see. Bikinis on pregnant women should not be allowed in public unless you have the body of Adriana Lima or another supermodel. I don’t want to see your linea nigra or “outie”

I believe that if pregnant women feel comfortable with their bodies in a bikini they should wear one. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing in a woman’s life that it should be cherished. Women have enough self esteem issues to worry about- they shouldn’t have to worry about what other people say let alone what other women have to say about their bodies when they are pregnant.

I also agree, Heidi is always gorgeous and I love her looks. Pregnant or not, she always looks amazing.

And I agree with Rebeka, a pregnant woman should wear a bikini if she feels comfortable wearing one and shouldn’t worry about what people think, as long as she feels comfortable.

A pregnant woman is the bringer of life to the universe, have some respect.

Seems she was born to have babies, she seems to carry off her pregnancies so effortlessly. I mean, I remember she wore that huge apple-and-snake-costume when in her last trimester with baby #3, along with high-heels. As for most women I know, poor things start waddling and huffing-puffing much early on in their pregnancies, avoiding high-heels, or anything fashionable as if pregnancy was a medical condition that should be abhorred!

wow. i don’t think i could wear those shoes…even un-pregnant.

Hands down, she gets the award for bravest high-heel shoe-wearer while pregnant! What are they–4 inches high? Her balance amazes me!!

Congrats to the whole clan! :)

Holly, do you also think that overweight women shouldn’t wear bikinis? What about disfigured people? Should overwight men have to wear a shirt when they’re at the beach? What about old people?

- Sam on

Sam, these are exactly my thoughts I wanted to post to Holly – what a strange idea as if people have a problem to actually see where they once came from – a woman’s belly (womb)!
Also, many people complain about overweigth women who wear a bikini or bathing suit. But – what about all those men bearing their beer bellies as a matter of course(especially here in Europe where I live)and nobody takes offense of them?

Pregnancy/Bump style? Regular Style? Heidi has style no matter how she is, pregnant or not. I don’t remember a time she didn’t have it. Either way, she looks insanely beautiful every time, and this outfit is just another one of those instances. I like it paired with those deathly high stilettos, which I also think are cute…lmao. :)

Such a gorgeous woman and family. Pregnancy certainly agrees with her.
