Update: Baby’s name is Everleigh Ray Gigandet, and she weighed in at 7 lbs., 6 oz, JustJared.com confirms.

Originally posted April 16th: It’s a girl for Twilight star Cam Gigandet and girlfriend Dominique Geisendorff! The couple reportedly welcomed a daughter on Tuesday, April 14th, In Touch Weekly says. “There is no name yet,” notes an insider. “She is perfectly healthy, everyone is doing fine!” So far, the actor and his rep are keeping mum on the news.

Baby girl is the first child for both Cam, 26, and Dominique, 23. Cam portrayed James in the hit vampire flick, available on DVD now.

It took me a while to clock onto the fact that Everleigh is Everly, long day.

I love the name Everly and I just think of Antony Keidis’ son so I like this spelling as it’s feminine.
Cam is such a beautiful looking person his baby is sure to be very stricking.

They spelled it with the Leigh in honor of Cam’s acting coach Leigh Kelton Smith and the Ray is after his dad. According to Dominique’s blog, Cam didn’t like Jay (his dad’s name) for a girl, so he chose Ray instead.

I prefer the feminine version, not keen on Everley Bear, sounds like something my son would nickname a toy IMO. Nicer on a girl I think, but I’d spell it Everley instead but just me although I like her middle name, think it flows ok. Personally I prefer it to Trista’s daughter Blakesley, more of a mouthful with Sutter as a surname. Don’t know who these people are but congrats on arrival of their little girl. Certainly isn’t the worst celebrity name out there!
