Rebecca Romijn and Twins Roll With It

After a sushi lunch, Rebecca Romijn and a pal were snapped strolling with fraternal twins, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, 4 months, on Thursday in Toronto. The family has been in the city while Rebecca films her new series, Eastwick, but husband Jerry O’Connell made a quick solo trip to NYC earlier this week to attend a few events.

Rebecca pushes a Double Decker Twin Stroller ($295). The girls are in Graco SnugRide infant car seats ($160) in Platinum with Itzy Ritzy Baby Ritzy Rider infant car seat covers ($110) in Leopard and Fuchsia Minky Dot. (Please note that manufacturers recommend against using third-party accessories with their car seats.) The twins also use customized pacifiers from Personalized Pacifiers.

I thought the person with Rebecca was Alexis Denisof for a second.

I’m glad CBB put the disclaimer about using third-party accessories. When I went in to get a car seat inspection the expert warned me about all of the accessories I was already using. Like certain carseat covers that use velcro can put extra wear and tear on carseat straps, overtime hindering their ability to keep baby safe! That inspection was the best $50 I spent!!!

*oops $20 not $50!

Kudos to CBB for the third party accessory warning!! Most people do not know that it voids the car seat warranty.

I think the girls are adorable in their little (teddy) bear outfits. :)

Sometimes I’m glad I’m not rich; I avoid spending money on such stupid things! A car seat cover that costs nearly as much as the car seat? Ridiculous…and I’ve personally never looked at a car seat and thought “Wow, if only that car seat fabric were cuter…”(And it voids the warranty…safety is the primary issue I wouldn’t use one.)

I wonder if they have a normal stroller too, ’cause babies shouldn’t be in car seats for more time than necessary (= driving)?!

Did anyone hear Jerry being interviewed on Howard Stern (some mornings I have no choice)? I wonder if you did, what you thought about his comments on his frustration with having twin babies – honest or disturbing?

- dickieangenson on

what did he say?

- I on

I listened to the interview and I found it honest. He mentioned how he understood how a parent can get frustrated and shake the baby when they don’t stop crying. He said it in a joking manner. I know plenty of mothers who have said the same thing. Obviously in all accounts none of them would do that. Is that what you were referring to?
