Claudia Schiffer and Clementine Scoot to School

EaglePress/INF

Model Claudia Schiffer totes the school bag Thursday in London while daughter Clementine de Vere Drummond — pretty-in-pink to match her wheels — rides alongside.

Claudia is married to film producer Matthew Vaughn. In addition to Clementine, 4, the couple also has a son, Caspar Matthew, 6.

Celementine is riding a Mini Kick by Kickboard USA ($75), a preschool-size scooter, which we will be reviewing very soon. In Europe, it’s sold under the name Mini Micro.

Love her scooter! She’s too precious :)

- Silvana on

haha! pretty soon people are going to start putting helmets on their kids just to walk down the block.

Her scooter is a Micro Mini/Mini Kick (they just changed the name): http://uggamugga.blogspot.com/2008/05/mini-micro-scooter.html. My kids LOVE theirs!

she should be wearing a helmet. why? because kids fall down! hey, even adults get hurt. nobody plans to fall, but hey, it happens.

also, i for those who believe that children down fall using a tri-scooter. here is a link to see a picture of cruz beckham, oh and guess what, he fell without a helmet. yea he is fine, but what if he wasn’t? is your child’s cognitive function or life really worth the risk? http://perezhilton.com/2009-04-16-cruz-being-adorable

Jacky, you can’t live your life thinking “what if?” Your child could also die in a car accident, are you not going to let him in a car because what if?

We all make our decisions and one of mine is tat on a thing like this a helmet is not needed.

I wonder if children are still allowed to climb trees and built huts, when I read all the what if? parents on sites like this.

Anna- I agree!

- CelebBabyLover on

Anna, I agree with you too.

There’s a limit between being protecting your child in dangerous activities and becoming over-worried about anything. For every activity you will find people who got badly injured. Kids can trip while running and badly hit their head, and so on.

- Alice on

Anna, ITA!

Why don’t we just place our kids in a padded room? That way we can avoid every possible injury, including: carpet burns, scrapes, and bruises.

- Ashlyn Grace on

yeah i agree in this case a helmet isn’t needed since that scooter is so small and low to the ground. besides you can trip and fall just walking down the street.
