A Sandy Smooch for Honor Warren

Giving her “big girl” — “she’s 25 lbs!” — a kiss on the forehead, Jessica Alba and daughter Honor Marie enjoyed a park playdate, digging in the sand and swaying on the swings at Coldwater Canyon in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Thursday.

When she was done with the sandbox, Honor, 10 months, started to crawl away!

When I was like 8.5 omonths old I was already in the 20 lb range so I believe I was probably about that weight when I was 10 months. Then again I was born over 9 lbs. But Honor is the cutest thing ever!

I babysat a baby over the summer who was like 20 pounds at about 5 months. She was BIG! (not just chunky but also pretty long for her age) She has since thinned out a bit. She is only 13 months now but is still fairly chunky. Sooo cute though!

Why the weight obsession with Honor? Its not like the poor girl is chowing down on burgers…she is the weight she is meant to be eating healthy food following her appetite I presume. I am sure she is getting all the iron, fat and nutrients her brain needs in this huge period of growth. Personally, I have noticed time and time again its the skinny skinny babies that grow up to have weight problems…

25 pounds seems like so much! I’m not saying its too much – I just never would have guessed that as Honor’s weight. I think she adorable and perfectly, appropriately chunky for a 10 month old. I always wished my daughter had had those little chubby thighs – however at 3 years old, she’s just reaching 28 pounds now. She’s a twig like her father!

At 5 months, my nephew weighed 20 lbs, haha, sound a 25-pound 10-month-old doesn’t seem like a lot for me. My nephew was almost 10 lbs at birth, though.

Honor is one of my favorites! I just love her chunkiness and adorable facial expressions. Too cute, once again!!!

I think that obsessing over her weight like this is ridiculous. My nephew that is 15 months old is 50 lbs. and he eats the healthiest of healthy food and is just adorable with his chubby legs like Honor’s. Nobody knows what kind of genetics she has besides looking at her Mother and Father. Maybe Cash and Jessica were big babies or people in their families are big boned.
