Name Trains: Get On Board For High-Quality Train Toys

My 3 ½-year-old son, Finn is completely train obsessed, and I worry about the nasty lead paint and many product recalls associated with his wooden trains. Maple Landmark, a Vermont company, uses only non-toxic finishes and sustainable hardwoods in its cute Name Trains ($5 per car).

They also have accessory cars and emergency vehicles that Finn loves. I’m partial to the leopard-print caboose. They run smoothly on his train tracks and even come in feminine pastel colors. It feels good to get back to basics and support this home-grown company. Besides, their products are so cute!

Yes! They are compatible (and used daily at our house) with the Melissa and Doug, Thomas and Brio tracks.
