Billie McGinley is a Beach Baby!

John Calabrese/Pacific Coast News

Is there an emergency? Scrubs star John C. McGinley stays close behind as newly-mobile daughter Billie Grace, 14 months, takes off running down the beach in Malibu on Saturday.

John, 49, and wife Nichole welcomed Billie in a homebirth in February 2008; John also has a son, Max, 11, from his first marriage.

This picture is adorable! I love the look on her face; pure bliss. She looks like she’s loving the freedom!

Haha! What a great picture. The baby looks like a little surfer, psyched about the waves!

She should be wearing a t-shirt and maybe even a hat. Baby skin is very delicate and easy to sunburn. She looks so happy and content likewise daddy.

My mom’s name is Billie. She’ll be glad to see that it’s becoming popular!! I don’t think she ever cared for her name but Billie Grace is cute!

Love the fluffy cloth diaper baby bum!

aww…what a great shot

and anne, i’m sure they are well aware of that but is it really necessary for you make such a comment when you have no idea how long she was walking around shirtless/hatless…perhaps they were in the middle of changing her and she decided to go for a little stroll and just moments later she was covered up again? who knows…but i think it’s little unfair to be making comments like that without knowing the actual facts or details…all you know is what you see from one shot

Talk about perspective…that baby looks tiny!!! I love when little babies seem to small to know how to walk (let alone, run!). They’re so cute to watch.

Why must everybody post arguments on here?

Yes, babies should wear shirts in the sun, even if it is literally for a minute or two, but the point is that it’s a cute photo!

There is for some reason always someone ready to point out something wrong!

Shes a cute little one, a smally!

Cute fluffy bum! I love seeing celebs using cloth dipes.

A small amount of sun is actually good for you. Something like 30 minutes of diaper-only sun per week (not when the sun is highest in the sky) is healthy and provides enough vitamin D. If you are clothed and hatless, you require something like two hours of sun per week. It was semi-rainy in So-Cal on Saturday, too. A very little bit of sun isn’t going to kill you. That baby may also be slathered head to toe in sunscreen for all you know. Adorable baby!

absolutely adorable…I love the way toddlers smile with their mouth wide open like they can’t decide wether to amile or scream…

“Today’s Cutie” for sure – ’nuff said really.
