congrats josh and anna i hope you share your pregancy on the show like michele said all her childern are blessings and jim bob and michele have raised their childern to be responsible and work hard from childhood those kids are way more responsible than other childern these days im so proud for you both i hope anna will share the birth of the next duggar generation with all of us that love and watch this show religously good luck you guys

Not trying to be mean here, but this photo made me do a double take. Anna’s clothes and pose atop Josh seemed actually unlike what I would expect a Duggar woman to dress like or pose. Nothing wrong with the pose, in fact I like Anna in capris showing a bit of leg, posing saucily on her husband like any newly wed. But this is Anna Duggar, who kissed her husband at the alter, who only wore skirts upto her ankles whenever I saw her on TV and in Josh’s family women are covered upto their ankes the older they get as far as I saw on TV.
Strange to say, this made me happier for them than the pregnancy. I could be wrong, but Josh and Anna seem to be define the rules as to what constitues ‘modest’ clothing in their lives and if body language is any indication seem to be very comfortable with and enjoy each other. Good for them. Now I only hope I see a picture of Jana or Jessa or one of the girls named ‘J’ pose one day like this with their husbands.

Children are a Blessing from the Lord and you are Blessed! Our family is only with 6 children. Each child my wife and I could not imagine being without and appreciate more with each passing year. Congratulations!

I guess Joshua and Anna will soon be claiming their home as a church so they can avoid paying property taxes, among other things, just like the elder Duggars do. Nevermind that property taxes go to support our local schools and other necessary services.

We have 4 children and have had many times where we put our faith in God. I am a jewelry designer, and often if I have a big bill coming up and no money to pay it, I would pray, and low and behold, I would get a phone call the next day with someone placing a large order.

Things are different financially now. We are growing rapidly in spite of the economy and we put our faith in God to show us what we should do.

I understand it is hard for people to let go of control, but for some of us, its a huge relief to cast our worries on Christ.

So yea, if something happens to Jim Bob and he can’t provide for the family I believe that they would turn it over to GOd to show them what to do.

I’m surprised at how positive/nice most of the comments are on that extreme case. To be honest, I’m fed up with how (partially) disrespectful comments on here get in every other post about the weirdest, most unimportant things. I hope this isn’t too off-topic or taken as an insult, but I am honestly bewildered about this and wish that people could be so open-minded about unconventional (e.g. unmarried) couples/families or, you know, little boys with long hair. It’s one thing not to agree with someone’s values, it’s an entirely other thing to discriminate. Or maybe it just says more about the readership here.

As for the Duggars, woah, am now off to look for their TV show. (don’t live in the US) Congrats, I guess.
