Guiding Light's Marcy Rylan Expecting First Child

There’s a baby on the way for actress Marcy Rylan! Although she kept the beginnings of a belly under wraps in a flowing top, Marcy, 28, and her boyfriend, model Don Money were on hand for Loukoumi’s Good Deeds book launch at Barnes & Noble on Saturday.

Marcy’s rep has confirmed that she is indeed expecting, with a due date of mid-October.

No word on whether her pregnancy will be written into her character’s storyline on Guiding Light. This will be the couple’s first child.

Widely known for her role as Lizzie on the soap opera — which will end its 72-year run on September 18th – Marcy also starred in Bring It On: All or Nothing in 2006, in addition to a small part in Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh.

WOW! I had no idea she was 28! For some reason I thought she was like 20/23 at the most. CONGRATS Marcy! I hope they write it in to the show.

i think she’s fantastic.
and as a viewer of the show, i’m sad to see it end. i do think they should write it in though and let everyone live “happily ever after” so to speak, even if it is a soap opera

WOW! I can’t believe she’s pregnant. I went to boarding school with Marcy at The Grier School in Tyrone,Pa. She was in 7th, me in 8th but she lived across the hall from me so we were good friends. She didn’t stay there long, ended up dropping out to attend public school but we always knew she’d be successful. Little Marcy Behrens all grown up…about to be a mommy…Congratulations! Grier Girls Rule!

I thought she looked pregnant on the show on one of the last episodes. I’m not sure if that was a slip up or if that was something for the viewers to see. Shortly after I saw her pregnant belly, she and Bill were involved in a scene about when and where to make a baby…..

When Marcy started her GL role, she was not welcomed with open arms by the viewers – including me (sorry Marcy – I was terribly wrong! Joke’s on me!). But this quickly changed when the spunky actress got a hold of the Lizzie character. Not only is Marcy beautiful and fun but extreemly believable – and isn’t that what a good actress is? She had such good repoire with all the characters and would be welcome on my screen any day. She should be considered for movie roles, she is a better actress than the ones picked. Can’t wait to watch her in the future.
