Idina Menzel: Back in Black

Draped again in a Big Apple favorite — the color black! — Idina Menzel gives us a grin while attending the opening night of reasons to be pretty, held at The Lyceum Theatre in NYC on Thursday evening.

The Broadway star, who just announced her pregnancy on Wednesday, also stepped out earlier in the week with husband Taye Diggs for another show!

The baby, due later this year, will be the first child for Private Practice star Taye, 38, and Idina, 37.

Taye and Idina are such a great couple. I have been looking foward to a pregnancy announcement from this couple for years! I know babies are not a requirement for married couples, but I always got a vibe from them that they would someday have kids.

This is the most excited I’ve been for a celebrity baby in AGES. I am a gigantic fan of both Idina and Taye and LOVE the fact that they met during RENT (which I am also a huge fan of) and have been together so long!
