Paul Walker Bonds With His Daughter Over Baking and Barbies

Gregg DeGuire/WireImage

Back for another round of The Fast and The Furious franchise, Paul Walker is more than happy to rev his engine on the race track; Once the excitement is over and the engines have cooled off, it’s back to playing dolls for the single father.

In a new interview with PARADE, Paul admits that his 10-year-old daughter Meadow Rain is a complete “girly girl” through and through and loves none other than to spend her days with two of her favorite people: her dad and Barbie! “She likes to bake stuff with me and I’ve even played Barbies,” he says.

With Paul often filming on location, Meadow has no problem packing up and jet-setting off to visit her dad. “She’s seen a lot of cool places and I love to hang out with her,” the proud papa, 35, gushes. Over the moon with parenthood, Paul admits that the greatest words of wisdom on the special father-daughter bond he has formed with his child were spoken by none other than his own mom.

“I think my mom put it best. She said, ‘Little girls soften their daddy’s hearts.”

Meadow is Paul’s daughter with former girlfriend Rebecca. The new Fast & Furious — with the original castmembers! — hits theaters today.

Didn’t even know he had a kid.

My number 1 celebrity crush. He is beautiful, wish we could see a picture of Meadow.

Paul Walker talking about his daughter = ovaries bursting. LOL

I had no clue he was a single father! Reading that melted my heart. I’m a daddy’s girl, who adores her mother, but he and I bond over things like guns and working on vehicles together. Paul has definitely jumped the list on celebs I wouldn’t kick out of my house.

He’s adorable. Meadow lives in Hawaii with her mom the majority of the time, but Paul goes there and she comes up to California quite a bit too. I like that he plays barbies with her.

Harley, Meadow lives with her mom in Hawaii. I’m definitely not saying Paul’s not involved but I think that she does live with her Mom most of the time.

Ha, same thought Brandi ;)

OMG! How did I miss that he had a daughter? It’s little surprise anyone would want to procreate with him – he is yum! But I swear I had no clue….

His ex girl friend it is nice that they spend time together not
a lot of men would admit that they play barbies..But if you don’t
see your daughter everyday it is nice to do something with her that
she enjoys.. wonder what kind of baking they do together..Wonder
what she looks like has Celebrity Baby ever shown what she looks
like..

Native,

I never knew he had a kid either for the longest time, it just popped up in a random article one day. I guess he’s not too publicly open about her, but it’s nice to see that he isn’t like that with her personally.

his daughter is adorable! she has the same blonde hair as he does!! I saw them at a local islands restaurant!!

Paul is the best father ever for having this kind of career and being a single dad. I knew that he did have a daughter, and even if I didn’t know that he had a BEAUTIFUL daughter I would very much assume that Paul would be the best father he could be of course.

I love him, he’s so gorgeous! All the best to him, his family and his girlfriend he’s supposed to be engaged to… xxx

I probably would make the same dsoneicis again, Janet. The brown hair served me well when I was going to an office every day and doing executive work. But I didn’t like the time, expense and the chemical treatments. One of the things I love about life now is the freedom to be natural, set my own schedule, and wear what I chose. There is no magic number of years. One thing I like is that by covering the grey when it began, I got to bypass the salt-and-pepper stage. But that can be nice too. There’s no magic formula, but I’m happy to share my experience.
