Hatley Rain Gear: April Showers Bring… ALIENS!

One warm afternoon I took my 3-year-old son, Finn out to splash in some giant mud puddles. First he dipped a toe in and, by the time we were finished, we were both soaked to the skin. Now he wants to splash in every puddle in the preschool parking lot, and now that he has Hatley’s darling rain gear he’s all set!

Finn’s very into aliens and spaceships right now, and the Alien Kids raincoat, boots and umbrella are covered in them. The friendly looking aliens are shaking hands with space men and holding signs that say “Take Me To Your Leader.” The coat is PVC free and lined in 100% cotton terry so it’s very soft. The boots have handles so they’re super easy for Finn to pull on without help. The umbrella completes the look and the whole set has generated lots of questions from admiring moms and kids alike.

Hatley’s whole store is full of gear for the whole family with funny animals and clever sayings. I like the high quality and the whimsical art style of everything they offer.

I LOVE Hatley rain gear. The coats are super soft inside and out. They are a little more expensive than some but well worth it in my opinion!

How adorable! I went straight to the Hatley site, but they don’t ship internationally. Thank goodness kookoobear kids does! We’re just heading into our rainy season, so I’m going to order one for my son.
