Matthew McConaughey Hits the Road With Levi

Have baby, will travel! Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves are gathering no moss as they crisscross the globe with their 8 ½-month-old son Levi in tow. “Levi is doing well, man,” the 39-year-old actor said during a Wednesday appearance on The Rachael Ray Show. “Five stamps on the passport.” Their domestic travels have been extensive as well; The couple recently completed a 7,209 mile trek in Matthew’s Airstream camper that took them throughout the southern United States and then back through the Grand Canyon.

“Check this out, perfect tank of gas before he wakes up and is ready to eat. So as soon as it gets below a quarter of a tank and I gotta pull off to get gas, Levi’s waking up. So far so good…We’re having a good time. He’s an easy traveler.”

Matthew again touched on the biblical significance of his son’s name. “We were talking, thinking about Levi and we hadn’t decided yet and then he was born at 6:22 p.m., which is my favorite verse in the book of Matthew,” he explained. “We looked at each other and were like, okay, this kid is Levi now for sure.”

Matt seems like such a cool dad. His little one is so cute! He’ll be presenting on the ACM awards Sunday. I can’t wait to see that. I never thought that the day would come that he’d come back to his country roots to present an award at a country award show. For those unaware, Matthew way back in the day before the movies happened (I think) was in a Trisha Yearwood video for her song ‘Walkaway Joe’. Man he’s come a long way.

OK, how cute is that? Matthew seems so down to earth and Camila also. They are traveling in a camper cross country It reminds me of a movie except this is real. I can picture him doing a movie like this with Kate Hudson and running into all kinds of things along the way. Too funny., Great couple.
