Ava Jackman's Bird's Eye View

Jimmy Spoils/Most Wanted

Ava Jackman enjoyed a view from the top (of dad Hugh Jackman‘s shoulders!) on Monday in New York City, as the pair walked home from school.

Along with Ava, 3 ½, Hugh and wife Deborra-Lee Furness are also parents to son Oscar Maximillian, 8 ½.

She’s adorable and he always looks so great with the kids. Funny but I never see the mom out and about with them that much.

There are plenty of photos of Deb out with the kids too – she’s usually with Hugh but the paps just zone in on him. There have been quite a few photos and even videos in the past few weeks on places like TMZ and SplashNews of family outings. And I’m sure Hugh wants to spend quality time with the kids before he has to go back to work.

P.S. Forgot to add – Deb was with them in the photos above – the whole family was (including son Oscar, her mother and some others) and there was even a video of the family walking down the street with Hugh twirling Ava around on his shoulders.

His wife is actually there most of the time, but for some reason most sites choose to show only photos of him and the kids. If you want to see the rest of the photos with the whole family it’s on justjared.

ah carolee bit me to it. And I thought I could type fast.. :)

Everytime I see Hugh with his kids or talking about Deborra-Lee like she is the only woman on the face of the earth, I think I fall in love with him just a little bit more!

aww Ava is so cute

Hey Carolee please tell where the video of this perfect momente is??? On what site is?

- cris on

meghan – I couldn’t agree more. I am also quite in love with Mr. Jackman and when I enthusiastically agree to accompany my husband to the new Wolverine movie, he’ll just think I’m being nice. ;)

Hugh seems like a great dad. Too bad he doesn’t have any bio kids.

Hugh looks like such a fun dad. Does anyone know what he’s going to film in NY?

- Lilly on

Alex – what do you mean by that comment? It sounds like you are placing bios above adoptees. I’m sure that would be offensive to his family along with many others.

- Julie on

okay thanks guys. I don’t get why they wouldn’t post her in the pictures too I mean she is the mom and she’s married to Hugh!! We see Marcia Cross photographed with her hubby at times. I just rarely see Hugh’s wife. Maybe she likes it better that way that the attention isn’t on her.

“Too bad he doesn’t have any bio kids.” ~Alex

Whoa, that is an incredibly rude and offensive thing to say. What is that comment even supposed to mean? If you’re implying that their lives would somehow be better if they had been able to have biological children, I’m sure they don’t see it that way. Hugh and Deb seem to be perfectly thrilled with the children that they do have.

Alex’s comment rubs me the wrong way, too. However, I don’t think she meant anything bad by it. I’m guessing that she just meant that Hugh would probably make some gorgoeus bio kids (considering he is the sexiest man alive and all!) and it would be fun to see mini-Hugh’s running around!

His daughter is beautiful. And Hugh…being a dad just makes him even more sexier and I am not one to make comments like that! there is just something about him with his kids.
