Score 1-1 … smooches that is! Caitlin Willow Meyer goes in for a kiss before resuming her tennis lesson with dad Breckin Meyer at Coldwater Canyon park on Monday.

The Clueless star, 34, lobbed his student a few balls before they moved on to the park swingset (see extended post).

Caitlin, 5, is the only child for Breckin — who does voices on King of the Hill and Robot Chicken — and his wife, director Deborah Kaplan.

It’s so nice to see pictures of this duo! I’d only ever seen them before in pictures with Ryan Phillippe (Breckin’s best friend) and Ava. Breckin teaching his daughter tennis is a great activity for a father and daughter. I bet they really enjoy the time together.

Question. I couldn’t help but notice that on the Melania and Barron Trump “Kiss” posting, it got very intense when discussing parents kissing on the lips, but doesn’t seem to be a big deal for Breckin and his daughter. Is it becasue we aren’t seeing actual mouth to mouth contact? Just curious. I don’t think it’s an issue, I was just curious.

Amber, I sometimes also wonder about the different reactions that one and the same (or very similar) things are getting. For example, a few days ago there was a post about a Bugaboo stroller on sale for ca. $100 less than the original price and the majority was like “still way too overpriced”, “you can get a good stroller for half that money” and so on. Two days later or so, was a post about some “Rock Star stroller” designed by Bon Jovi members, which cost more, and the consensus was “Oh, that’s so great”, “Oh, I wanna have one” and a lot more gushing. Not to talk about the different reactions celebrities and their kids get for doing almost the same, lol.
Must be different people commenting, but it still baffles me sometimes.
Anyway, Breckin Meyer and his daughter are really cute together, would love to see him in another movie, “Road Trip” was such along time ago.

Amber, I didn’t read the discussion about the Trump family, but that sounds ridiculous! I kiss my kids on the lips all throughout every day…what could possibly be wrong with that?! My children are 5, 2.5 and 4 months just like the age group Barron and Caitlin would fit into…not 16! I’ll have to go back and read that post.

Breckin is quickly becoming one of my favorite Dads! You can tell these two are tight and as someone who did not have that with my own dad growing up, it warms my heart to see. Caitlin is a lucky girl.

As far as the differing opinions for similar situations, it does amaze me what people freak out over. I suspect it has something to do with the people involved rather than anything else. If people have an opinion on a particular celeb, they are more likely to jump down their throat over things they wouldn’t even bat an eye at otherwise.

That is a cute little girl. I will never understand why parents have to kiss their children on the lips. I kiss my kids on the cheek or on top of the head; NEVER THE LIPS. That is reserved for my HUSBAND..
