Naomi Watts has her hands full after removing 3-month-old son Samuel ‘Sammy’ Kai — and his carseat! — from the backseat of her ride as she returns home to her NYC apartment on Thursday.

During a recent appearance on Ellen, Naomi revealed that choosing a name for her and Liev Schreiber‘s second son was difficult.

“We couldn’t decide, we literally couldn’t decide on the name until we got to the hospital. Even three days after! We liked both Samuel and Kai and we still couldn’t decide if we wanted to go Kai Samuel or Samuel Kai. It’s Samuel Kai now, and we call him Sammy. But that’s a bit of a baby name so we’ll probably [call him Samuel].”

Dang, that looks heavy! Why not just leave the car seat in the car and carry the baby? I’ve tried lifting a car seat with a 10lb baby in it and just about dislocated my shoulder. Then again I have poor upper body strength.

Picking a name is so hard, sometimes. You think you’ve found the perfect one, but then you “meet” the baby and the name doesn’t seem to fit. Other times, the baby just kind of “grows” into the name. I’m so glad Naomi has her two little boys, as much as she wanted to be a mother! I can’t wait to actually see what “Sammy” looks like! His brother, Sasha, sure is a beauty!

I really love this family, so down to earth I think. And extremely talented. I hope they have another baby just to add more cuteness to the world.
My name is Sammy and always has been, I don’t think it’s a baby name. Keeps me out of trouble though, it’s too cute for people to seriously shout out.

I just remember reading on CBB when Sammy was born someone saying she found it interesting that Nai didn’t name her son after her dead ex-boyfriend, which really just made me laugh. Glad she and Liev picked a great name.

I think that car seat is from her first born, and I’m glad she didn’t buy another one, she is showing that she can still use hand me downs, althought all the millions and billions she has.
