Toy Fair 2009: Fisher-Price Little Superstar Jammin' Band Musical Microphone

We loved last year’s Fisher-Price Little Superstar Sing-Along Stage and are looking forward to this year’s Little Superstar Jammin’ Band Musical Microphone ($50) which will hit stores in July. With a real working microphone and 2 modes of play, this new toy for babies 6+ months includes ten songs, musical riffs, fun phrases, scats and sound effects. The light-up microphone noticeably amplifies baby’s voice and rewards vocalization with encouraging phrases and cheers. Baby can press the light up piano keys, guitar and drum on the microphone stand to get fun musical riffs, songs and phrases. Two detachable instruments, a maraca and tambourine, add rhythmic fun as baby plays along. The stand is a perfect sitting height for baby in its lowest position. When baby is ready, the stand height can be extended with a sturdy handle for extra stability to make it just the right size for a standing baby.

Andrew Firestone and Wife: Red Alert!

Eric Charbonneau/WireImage

Aww! Former Bachelor Andrew Firestone gets up close and personal with wife Ivana Bozilovic Firestone‘s growing belly last month in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 2003 contestant, who originally picked Jen Schefft at the end of his season, married Ivana, a model, in July 2008.

Expecting their baby in mid-April, the couple has chosen to wait for a delivery surprise. “We’ve decided that we’re not going to find out the sex of the baby. There’s very few surprises left … this will be our big life surprise,” explains Andrew, 33.

The latest season of The Bachelor wraps up this coming week on ABC, with the finale and the first “After the Final Rose” airing Monday from 8-11 p.m., followed by “After the Final Rose 2″ from 10-11 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

Ivana wears a top that resembles (but isn’t) Isabella Oliver’s Portrait Top ($115).

Melissa Borell's Pop-Out Pendants

We don’t normally cover regular mom jewelry but I was so blown away by Melissa Borells unique naturalistic yet ultra-contemporary Pop-Out Jewelry that I wanted to share. The line consists of about a dozen designs that come still attached to the metal that it is cut from. Pop out the shape and thread the included 18″ sterling silver chain through it. Choose from different fabrications like stainless steel, powder-coated red, black and 18K gold plate. My favorite pieces are the Garden Pop-Out Pendant ($36) and the Seeds Pop-Out Earrings and Pendant Set ($56).

Tiger Woods Calls Injury 'Blessing in Disguise'

Dom Furore/Woods Family via Getty Images

After a lengthy layoff, Tiger Woods came roaring back to the golf course on Tuesday — but his companions over the preceding eight months were never far from his thoughts. Admitting to reporters that his attachment to wife Elin and the couple’s two children — Sam Alexis, 20-months, and Charlie Axel, 2-weeks — caught him off-guard, Tiger adds,

“I didn’t know it would be to this degree, the closeness that I feel…I didn’t realize how much I loved being home and being around [them].”

Calling the injury which sidelined him a “blessing in disguise,” the 33-year-old explains that it enabled him to “be away from the game and have an opportunity to be a part of Sam’s growth and development and watch it.” It sounds as though he wouldn’t change a thing! “We’ve had so much fun, so many great times, and I would have missed some of those things,” he shares.

Still, hitting the road to hit the links does come with its fair share of perks; The lack of sleep since welcoming Charlie has been “one of the tougher parts” of parenthood, Tiger says, and the ability to catch up on shut-eye softens the blow of his family’s absence. “This is my week to get some sleep, get some rest, so I’ll take full advantage of it,” he jokes.

“But on a serious note, it’s great. To have Charlie healthy and Elin healthy and obviously Sam just doing great, it just couldn’t be any better.”

Tiger’s official return to the PGA Tour begins today at the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship in Marana, Ariz.
