Teutonia T-Handmuff

I seldom wear a coat when I’m out and about with two kids, and mittens? Unheard of. So Teutonia’s T-Handmuff ($60) is a godsend. It snaps to just about any stroller with a bar handle, and some with two handles, too! The outside is water-resistant Nylon and the inside is fabulous, plush faux fur and the whole thing is machine washable. It is really warm! Brilliant!

Mythbusters' Kari Byron Expecting First Child

Discovery Communications

There is no myth to debunk here — Mythbusters Kari Byron is expecting a baby! Joined by her two costars Grant Imahara and Tory Bellecci in a video announcing the big news, the trio — all displaying large baby bumps — tease the viewers by asking, “Guess which one of us is actually pregnant?” Before the men birth their beach balls, a clearly elated Kari points down to her growing belly and confirms the obvious.

“That’s right. I’m bustin’ myths for two now!”

While the beaming mama-to-be is thrilled with the news, she admits that being pregnant on a scientific reality show is no laughing matter. Compiling a list of her top ten “things that have changed since getting knocked up,” the 34-year-old jokes that her big belly has gotten in the way more than once! “When Grant says, ‘Holy crap! Run!’ I can waddle at best,” she writes, adding, “I can’t see what I am stepping in.” Taking the pregnancy in stride with her make-shift “‘Costanza’ under my desk so I can take naps when no one is looking,” an always ”starving” Kari has a new found distaste for working in the field.

“My new keen sense of smell is a disadvantage when handling jars of gorilla poop, rotten ballistic gel or smelly, old socks from fans.”

Baby-on-the-way is the first for Kari and her husband Paul Urich.

Kevin Federline Gets Frugal – About Kids’ Clothes!

It’s not all partying in Las Vegas for Britney Spears’s ex. Kevin Federline hit the party town to take in the Project fashion trade show hoping to gain some inspiration for a children’s clothing line he is planning on launching.

“I’m trying to take it seriously and make a quality product for kids but not have parents pay like $500 or something ridiculous for a pair of jeans,” he tells WWD. “You buy your kids a pair of True Religions then they roll around in the dirt like kids do and a $200 pair of jeans is gone. With this economy, I’m looking to do something much more reasonable.” He does have a point. We hope to see Jayden James, 2 and Sean Preston, 3, trying out their daddy’s design soon.

The Jolie-Pitts Take in a Broadway Show

The Little Mermaid on Broadway

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie went “Under the Sea” Wednesday night, when they took their kids – Maddox, 7 ½, Pax, 5, Zahara, 4, Shiloh, 2 ½ – to see Broadway’s Disney musical The Little Mermaid.

In order to get everyone inside the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, a security team escorted the family. It’s the second big show for the parents this week: Sunday they were at the Oscars in Hollywood.

Jolie is now in New York to film her new movie Salt, described by Variety as an espionage thriller in which she plays a CIA agent accused of being a Russian spy.
