Ben and Julianna Zobrist Welcome Son Zion Benjamin

Christian singer Julianna Zobrist has shared with CBB that she and her husband, Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Ben Zobrist, are proud parents after welcoming son Zion Benjamin Zobrist at 2:23 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1st. He weighed in at 8 lbs., 15 oz and was 21 ¾ inches long. The 24-year-old tells that Zion’s “birth was amazing. I was able to deliver him completely naturally and it was by far the most intense and spectacular experience I have ever been able to be a part of.”

“Ben was right next to me the whole time, coaching and encouraging me through the entire labor and delivery. And now we are speechless and honored to be able to hold and love our little Zion! God deserves much awe and reverence for being such a Creator!”

The pregnancy was announced in October. Zion is the couple’s first child.

Julianna’s first album, The Tree, was released last December. Ben, 27, began his professional baseball career in 2004 after being drafted by the Houston Astros and was traded to the Rays in 2006.

Isla Fisher Enjoys Being a Full-Time Mom

Although she’s out and about promoting her new film Confessions of a Shopaholic, Isla Fisher says it’s her role as mom to 15 ½-month-old Olive that continues to take up the majority of her time. “I haven’t worked for nine months except doing voice-overs for an animated film with Johnny Depp,” the 33-year-old actress explains to PARADE. “I’m still getting to be a full-time mother.” That means it is Isla who has the pleasure — or pain, depending on your perspective! — of escorting Olive to her doctor’s appointments. On the day of the interview, Isla had just returned from one such visit and revealed that her daughter behaved admirably given the circumstances.

“Olive was getting a shot. She didn’t cry, only gave out a sort of squeal. But I’d brought along a squeaky toy as a reward for being brave, and that made her very happy.”

Olive is Isla’s daughter with fiancé Sacha Baron Cohen; Confessions of a Shopaholic is in theaters Friday.

Kimora Lee Simmons gets all wrapped up — and rests her hands under her belly, showcasing her pregnancy — on Tuesday in New York City. The Baby Phat designer was attending JCPenney Style Your Spring event to promote her latest collection.

Kimora, 33, is mom to two daughters — Ming Lee, 9, and Aoki Lee, 6 ½. This will be the first child for partner Djimon Hounsou.

Jordyn Blum Grohl: Ravishing in Raspberry!

Va-va-voom! Jordyn Blum Grohl showed off her belly in a clingy ruched raspberry dress at the MusiCares Person of the Year tribute honoring Neil Diamond held last Friday in Los Angeles.

Due this spring, Jordyn and husband Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters will make daughter Violet Maye, 2 ½, a big sister right around the time of her third birthday!

Coronation Street's Alison King Welcomes Daughter Daisy Mae

It’s a girl for Coronation Street star Alison King! The 35-year-old actress and her partner Adam Huckett welcomed a daughter earlier today. Daisy Mae Huckett weighed in at 6 lbs 7 oz.

A spokesperson for the UK-based soap confirmed the birth, adding “both mum and baby are doing well.”

The pregnancy was announced in August. It is the first child for Alison and Adam, who have been dating since 2007.

Other Corrie stars recently welcoming babies or announcing pregnancies include Tina O’Brien and Ryan Thomas, whose daughter Scarlett Jacqueline arrived in October, Andy Whyment, who welcomed son Thomas in October, Jack P. Shepherd, who is set to be a new dad when girlfriend Lauren Shippey delivers, Wanda Opalinska, who expects a baby this winter, Jane Danson, currently expecting her second child and Graeme Hawley and wife Elianne, due in June.
