Piers Morgan Stays in Constant Contact With His 'Three Fantastic Kids'

For Piers Morgan, the key to surviving a nasty divorce with your parental relationship intact is to keep the lines of communications open — no matter what! “I produced three fantastic children with my ex-wife,” the 43-year-old Celebrity Apprentice winner tells the Daily Mail. “The best advice I ever got was to speak to them every day — that’s when you need your ex to be very accommodating.”

“I’ve spoken to my kids, with just a handful of exceptions, every day in the last nine years.”

Piers adds that while he doesn’t regret his divorce from ex-wife Marion Shalloe, the two have “stayed good friends.” Maintaining that bond is “important for your kids,” Piers says, and Spencer, 15, Stanley, 11 and Bertie, 8, remain his top priority. “My children bring me more happiness than anything I’ve done professionally — ever,” he says. “When you become a parent, everything changes.” Asked whether he’s open to the possibility of having more children, Piers says he is, but he’s definitely not in any hurry! Asking “Do I look too old to have children?,” Piers notes,

“Pablo Picasso was banging them out when he was 85.”

I didn’t know Piers got divorced :( . Best luck to him & his wife. The younger two kids got uncommon names.

Just been watching celebrity apprentice and am shocked that Amarosa could be so down right rude. Unbelievable that anyone could make such unneccessary comments about another persons children or family.
I think Piers handled it better than most would.

Piers Morgen deserves to be black-balled.
His behavior for the finals of America Got Talent was deplorable. He destroyed the chances for Prince Poppycock winning the prize when he “beeped” the performer who had just begun to perform. Obviously Morgan does not have the professionalism and courtesy to participate as a talent judge – or, perhaps, evaluating many other contests/interviews. We no longer watch Americas Got Talent.
Seriously,

I am very very surprised that Piers Morgan has been given the positions he has been assigned, including America’s Got Talent. Having a British background also, I feel rather ashamed at his behaviour. To me he behaves like a child who has been badly spoilt. I don’t really see a grounded, rounded, compassionate person whatsoever. And in an interview I watched today (August 31st, 2011), where he was being asked, along with his 3 embarrassed boys, ‘what is your relationship like?’. It was very obvious that there were many conflicts here. Too bad…. if he smartened up & put himself into the other person’s shoes.. he might get somewhere. Right now, however, I’d say he’s totally obnoxious & has no clue as to how to relate to others. Primrose Wylde: retired teacher

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
