Humanity Tees Teach Global Citizenship

I was drawn to these t-shirts from Humanity because they remind me of the watercolors of Ludwig Bemelmans’ Madeline series, and they do have a similar morality. Each of their characters, Henri (the small French car), Sal (the Mexican suitcase), Pinellia (the Chinese plant), Nalo (the recycled African newspaper),  and Kai (the Southern California Surfboard), teaches kids to be global citizens without hammering it in their head – keep the oceans clean, recycle, take care of their bodies, walking instead of driving, and so on.
