My Royal Heinie Daypack: A Royally Convenient Diaper Purse

02/21/2009 at 03:00 PM ET

I have a tendency to overpack. As a result, my diaper bags end up overflowing with unnecessary items and I take far too long to find a diaper and wipes when I need them. Not anymore. The My Royal Heinie Daypack ($42) has come to my rescue.

Suddenly, I’m able to walk out the door carrying almost nothing at all (well, aside from a baby, of course!). The Daypack has a great adjustable strap that enables it to be a clutch or a shoulder bag. It can also hook onto a stroller. And the newest model comes complete with a matching change pad, will be available in four lovely color combos and even has side pockets for a sippy cup or water bottle.

But the most amazing feature of the Daypack – the part I keep showing to people, even if they don’t ask! – is the built-in wipes dispenser. It’s super-simple to fill with wipes and even simpler to pull them out when you need them. And it has a moisture-lock pocket so the wipes stay wet and everything else in your bag stays dry.

And if your Daypack gets dirty from being used so often… well, you just throw the whole shebang into the washer and air to dry. If you can stand to be without it, that is.
